An absolute dream stay .
Absolutely everything from the moment I rang to book due to hotel, travel agents had put us in being so bad, we moved here and Rai on reception couldn’t have been more welcoming and helpful. Room was spotless and spacious. Breakfast was delicious and great selection. Supi, Gede, Wid, Atik amongst all the other staff we met were outstanding in there hospitality skills. Definitely worth visiting this hotel.

A beautiful, art-filled escape with standout value
I’m not particularly used to staying at resorts, but it would feel unfair to frame Anuma that way. How many resorts do you know that feature an art gallery with extensive pieces of Indonesian history spread across three floors? We stayed in an Executive Suite with a bathtub, and my first thought upon entering the almost 90 m² room was that, in most places in Europe, the same price would barely get you a room the size of our bathroom. Speaking of bathrooms, ours was separated by glass partitions with blinds for privacy - functional, though still slightly amusing. The entire property is visually striking and clearly designed with aesthetics in mind, making it especially appealing for those inclined toward photography. The staff were professional and welcoming throughout, with a special mention to Ali, who kindly gave me a tour of the museum spaces. If you’re looking for an exquisite experience on a reasonable budget, this place deserves a spot on your list. Unfortunately, I spent most of the stay sick with the flu, which limited how much I could fully enjoy it. Breakfast options were plentiful, though once again not particularly generous for vegan choices, so I ended up relying on toast and ginger tea (#sadnoises).
Because I was unwell and spent a lot of time in bed, it was disappointing not to have any streaming services available on the television. You can easily connect a YouTube account, but that was about it. Beyond that, there isn’t much else to complain about.
