Komaneka at Tanggayuda Ubud

The staff were really attentive and the rooms are very private and spacious. The food was amazing. The guided tour I had was really incredible and my tour guide was lovely.

The main pool was under construction and we weren’t informed about this until after we arrived. This affected the main restaurant also so there wasn’t really any kind of bar.

Our absolute favorite thing and place we stayed on this trip. The property owned by a Baliaese couple pay special attention to Art and the environment. The food was good and the staff was personable and incredibly attentive. The location of this property is situated right in the central beauty of Bali.. The food was very good. We loved the private pool that was in our room. Also, we really appreciated that they had shuttles to take us down to Central Ubud. .

There happen to be in a little construction going on, but it wasn’t that big a deal

The property had a private room, private pool, separate toilet from shower, aircons, a smart tv, mosquito net, good wifi, a mini fridge and many many more great features. They think of everything possible and supply it to you including a quick sew kit to fix torn clothes. They topped our jar of cookies and mini fridge every day, the room was cleaned everyday, bed made everyday. They even do a run down service where they prepare your room for the night such as locking the doors and closing the blinds. The tv can be faced at the couch or the bed. There was a private balcony with chairs to relax outside. The pool had sunbeds and the water was tested everyday for chlorine and PH levels. THE STAFF, the staff are exceptional, very nice and very helpful, they will go far out of their way to accommodate any need. My girlfriend was bitten by a dog outside of the property and the next day we had flowers and a letter in our room wishing her a speedy recovery. Also because we stayed almost a week we were given a free desert by the chef. For our flight we had to check out very early and we were supplied an early breakfast to take away. I cannot express how perfect this place is and how fantastic the staff are. If you are thinking about booking this place, do not hesitate. Even the views are magnificent. I work at a resort in Australia and compared, Komaneka has exceptional standards and communication. I wish I had more photos to share but my girlfriend was the photo taker.

The gardens were always clean and well groomed. Also the rooms were cleaned daily very nicely. Staff was in general friendly and helpful. Location was a bit further away but very quiet.

Details in the room: The mosquito nets around the bed were dirty and full of mosquito blood and smelled awful as they weren't washed for quite some time. Also the curtain could need a refresh! It was discomfortable to touch them. Toilet was always clean but had a bad odour. The food no matter what you ordered, taste was always too sweet!

Every single details about Komaneka at Tanggayuda is exceptional - from the breakfast to the floor mat that had been set out for our return the afternoon it rained. They provide a truly stunning experience.

Beautiful, lush property which felt like an oasis away from the chaos of Ubud. Our pool villa was spotless and such a dreamy place to start our honeymoon! Loved the shared pool area and its view. The cultural dinner was a treat, and was affordable.

The gym was quite small. Construction taking place to add a new pool. There was an odd and continual screeching sound, like that of the tokay gecko, in the courtyard - and some other guests advised that they saw that it was coming from a speaker (although I can't confirm that was the case) - that was distracting and a bit off-putting

Amazing views!! Smaller resort with only around 35 villas which means the staff really look after you very well, and are super attentive to the guest needs. Mina from the restaurant helped us organize our friends birthday cakes and the outcome was extremely wonderful! Thanks again Mina :)

We stayed at your hotel as a couple. The room was spacious and comfortable. Having both an outdoor and an indoor shower separately was a great advantage. Also, the size of the private pool in the room was sufficient. The two sinks and individual lockers for each person allowed us to stay organized without any clutter. It was wonderful that no one from outside could see into our room. Additionally, the staff were very friendly and cheerful. They prepared the room every day, making it ready for us to start the day and to go to sleep at night. Moreover, the beds were extremely comfortable.

The breakfast felt a bit limited. I would have liked to enjoy more tropical fruits. Also, in order to use the private pool in the room, you need to request for the surrounding area to be prepared in advance, which can be inconvenient if you don’t always want to plan ahead. The hotel is located a bit far from Ubud center, so we occasionally found ourselves stuck in traffic. It would have been lovely to have an infinity pool on site, as it would allow for a more comfortable view of the valley while swimming. Currently, you need to go to the main pool area for that experience. Lastly, some areas of the hotel were under renovation during our stay, and while the nature sounds were soothing, hearing construction noises during the day from our room was a bit disappointing

The surrounding is very serene. The service is great and staffs all are very accommodative and polite. They always check with us whether we need anything else beside what we enjoy. Great hospitality!

Only the private swimming pool too deep😀. Not children friendly but the staff explained it’s for honeymooners.

We came here several times. The location is great and has a nice view. The staff is exceptional friendly and organized. Especially our drivers we loved, they are outstanding compared with all other transfers we did in Indonesia. Perfect place for us.

This time we werent so lucky with the restaurant, especially with the big construction in front and the noise. We liked the staff there very much, but not the influenca of the ill guy serving without mask ( mangement task) We understand the construction needs for the new area, but it wasn t so easy to escape the noise as they worked also in the other areas a lot with chainsaw and other tools during the day. My advice would be to move the restaurant temporarily and limit the other noise, e.g. by teaching the gardener in how to use a chainsaw …by the way: Stihl has also electrical ones.

We spent 3 nights at Komaneka at Tanggayuda for our honeymoon. We had a villa with private pool and an outdoor bathtub which was really great! There was everyday cleaning service for the room and the pool! This resort is in the midde of a jungle which is perfect for people who want to relax and for honeymooners. It's about 20-25 minutes drive from the center of Ubud but there is a shuttle bus service. The breakfast was with a la carte options and was soooo delicious!!! The stuff was always polite and smilie and helped us with everything we needed. We wish to return sometime to Bali and stay again in Komaneka af Tanggayuda.

The staff are absolutely incredible and the hotel facilities, service and cleanliness is fabulous. Probably the best run hotel I've stayed in in terms of guest experience.

AC in our villa didn't have Heat Mode. During the rain was high humidity and was not comfortable to sleep. Need to improve kitchen, breakfast not tasty and that's the issue during the long stay.

The property is unforgettable! The views are breathtaking of the rainforest! The staff is incredible and was just so accommodating and helpful! We can not say enough good things about this 5 star resort. We booked the 2 bedroom Villa which had the most AMAZING views. Could easily sleep 4 upstairs comfortably (if extra beds were available to be added) as there are two separate areas. The 2nd large single bedroom with bath and outdoor living room is perfect for parents but do know the Villa is NOT connected by an interior door and does have its own pool so may not be ideal for families with younger children unless you sleep in the upstairs room with them… the view is the best from up there anyway ;). It worked so well for our older children and we just wish we had more time to stay longer! The breakfast options are all cooked to order and healthy which we loved. There kitchen is open all night which was so nice since we went straight to the airport to the hotel (1 hours drive at 10pm) and ordered food at 12am once we were all settled in which was delicious and so fresh! What a warm welcome! Also… DO NOT MISS the SPA! They Were the best we had in Bali and reasonable too! Well done Komaneka! We hope to be back someday !!

The leaving was a little hectic. Our drivers had arrived but we were not aware. Would have been helpful for them to call to our room to let us know and suggest coming for our bags. Thankfully, it wasn’t too much of a problem.

This place is a paradise on earth! The surroundings are absolutely amazing, we've had a swimming pool outside and the bathtub. The staff was extremely kind, the food tasty and served on a high standard. It's pricey but it's normal to maintain this place. I felt like a princess :)

There are a few more insects vs maybe other locations but it is a small compromise in terms of being immersed in nature
