Kayumanis Ubud Private Villas & Spa

This is my third time in a kayumanis property and the second on this one. It mixes privacy, space, with stunning views and river front gardens. All in all they do have one of the best services in Bali. Very personal, and all staff are super nice, helpful and smily. The default answer to anything is “certainly.”; Check out while on ur sofa, nurse delivery for my wife, or booking any activity: Yes for all with a smile.

The 24 hour butler service has deteriorated a little, due to busy season. Also, canopy bed shades had a little dust in them.

Wonderful villa and pool in a very private setting

Breakfast is good, service is good.

Facilities are old and did not maintain. The key to our villa is wrong, shower head is broken, body lotion bottle is empty. SPA bed sheet is humid, safety box in the change room is out of order.

My friends and I booked Kayumanis for 5 days arriving relatively late in the first day. The facilities are absolutely breathtaking! The villas are nestled within the topical forest with the rover running below. The beautiful surrounding of nature makes this a very peaceful and secluded compound. The staff were AMAZING from concierge, spa, and the dinning corner. Everyone was truly polite and professional. Consistently inspiring we had a fantastic stay. We booked 2 villas: 2 bedroom and 3 bedroom. Each villa has its own private pool! The rooms are spacious and each offering its own private bathroom. The showers in some of the rooms are outside but deeply enclosed. All of the other bathroom amenities are enclosed. The Dining Corner offers Complimentary breakfast which you can have at anytime. You have the option of choosing 3 items which ideally covers breakfast and lunch. The food was amazing and the wait staff were very attentive. The spa facilities are nestled within the villas and offers extremely affordable massages ranging from 1 hr to 3hrs. I booked a massage 3 of the 4 nights and felt in haven. The first 2 were with Heriti (may have spelled it wrong), her hands were incredible. So good I slept right through one night. Overall I had an incredibly remarkable experience. If I am to return, I am definitely returning to Kayumanis! Thank you to the entire team!

We had the pleasure to stay in one of the villa in Mai 2023 and what an amazing start of our honeymoon ! It is a very high quality service place where to stay. The whole place is very peaceful and very clean. The staff is very kind and helpful. They will accommodate you the best they can and help you plan your visits and activities. We had diners in the restaurant and we were not disappointed. The food were really good with different choices and at reasonable prices. And most important, don’t forget to book one of their massages at the spa ! Probably one of the best treatment we had ! Thank you to have made our stay such an incredible experience !

The setting was absolutely beautiful, so private and peaceful, staff were incredible. Our villa was quite old but beautifully maintained. The hotel main pool was stunning and we never saw anyone else use it. Afternoon tea and breakfast were fantastic.

Hard to not like anything here. We ate at dining corner which was lovely. Only negative is you are a long way from other restaurants, i just ended up using gojek to order in food for the kids which was easy enough.

if you are so clueless where to pick, trust me. dont think too much, just pick this villa you will not regret

We loved the location - the natural beauty of the jungle that surrounded our villa and pool made for a great space to relax. The service, food and staff were also excellent!

Our stay was amazing, the staff were always helpful and polite, the food was amazing and the views superb. The villas are clean, comfortable and Provide the perfect location to relax after a day out exploring the local area. Upon arrival our butler helped us decide on some activities and arranged them for us so all we had to do was meet at the front and were were of on our adventures. Our butler also checked in daily to ensure we were happy, if anything could be improved, or if we wanted to organise any other activities or change our plans. 10/10 will be visiting again.

Amazing deluxe villa with private pool and outdoor bathroom/living spaces. Friendly staff, very prompt service including free shuttles into Ubud centre. The free breakfast was a bonus - it could be ordered to the Villa or in the restaurant at any point in the day. The resort is best for those wanting a tranquil escape.

A quiet and secluded resort that is tucked away in the middle of the forest in Ubud. beautiful common pool (though it requires a rather long walk from the villa to reach).

as the property is 20 years old, you can see the wear and tear easily. they have not upgraded it (we were there in 2005). was disappointed with the food - it was much better before. we were so looking forward to the cinnamon toast but it was nothing like what it was. the Thai selection were also not authentic. service is just ok. haven’t seen any improvement - was expecting that Kayumanis would have kept on improving over the years.

The Villa set amongst the backdrop of the Ubud jungle was incredible.

The views the resort had was amazing, the villas are beautiful, and the staff were honestly amazing at every turn. the resorts" backyard" view per say looks on river. Overall i cant say anything negative. The restaurant boasts a menu of Indonesian/Balinese, Thai, and western Cuisine, and it all tastes amazing. the food can also be delivered straight to you villa accompanied by waiter, although i do recommend the terrace the restaurant has(due to the views). Everything can be delivered to your villa including the Spa. There's also a shuttle service that's free except between the hours of 5pm-11pm which a trip would cost around 5 USD. They can pick you up anytime anywhere just by texting them from watsapp ( Highly recommended if you are staying out late wink wink ) Did i say the staff are amazing too?
