Gorgeous sustainable resort in the middle of the jungle next to the river. Inspiring architecture, delicious authentic Balinese food, attentive and warm staff. The crystal pools, copper hot tubs with ice plunge and mud brick sauna in the forest are magical. Really felt like an off the grid luxury stay. Wish all Balinese resorts were this environmentally aware and sustainable.
Mosquitos feasted on me being so warm and wet and being immersed in nature! But there is mosquito repellent in all rooms so I just slathered that on.

Great location, jungle setting, natural pools.
Bambu Indah has been considerably developed since our last stay there 2 years ago. It has gone from feeling like a boutique small hotel to a resort feel with lots of people coming and going in ‘day pass’. We stayed in the Swift and Starljng rooms which had no outlook and no windows - it was like staying in a cave. Very disappointed compared to the original rooms like tent, moon and copper and poor value for money IMHO.
