Lovely location by the canal- high ceilings - nice garden and views
Slow service at breakfast- waited and waited and had to chase up order. Also got locked out at night as no one at the check in had said anything about times of how to get in!

Convenient location for us. The staff on the Saturday evening were exceptional. The head chef was fantastic and the food superb. Good value set meal offer. Breakfast was perfect too.
There was nothing really to dislike. The staff on Sunday however were not as engaging, we said good morning 3 times and still didn't get a response. Not as attentive like the evening.

Food / dinner was excellent, staff were great.
The temperature in my room was nothing short of a furnace - the bedside fan served no purpose at all. I know it was exceptionally hot but i think the hotel need to think about investing in portable air-con units. I literally could have passed out in there, it was so hot i vacated my room at 04.30am for respite
