Rowton Hall offers an ideal location that truly enhances the stay. It feels like a genuine country house retreat, yet it was not too far from the city centre, making day trips and travel very easy. The hotel itself was fantastic. Our room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable, although it would benefit from a small refresh (a lick of paint) to make it perfect. The spa facilities were thoroughly enjoyable and a great way to unwind. Finally, the service was excellent; the hotel receptionist was lovely and helpful during our stay. Highly recommended for those wanting beautiful grounds close to city convenience!

He had lovely afternoon evening and night sleeps, all is one place. The staff friendly food great and rooms. The facilities are great and cannot wait to stay and relax again.

Stayed here yesterday for a special occasion, expected it to be nice for a 4 star. Looks nothing like the pictures.
Hotel room was dirty, smelt horrible and was so dated (and I am really not fussy) I just expect cleanliness.
Spa was okay, could just do with the floor being cleaner. Food was awful with bad service. Not rude- just so slow and waited at the bar for someone to even come in for a while. Would be handy if there was a bell. The bathroom was the worst part and I had to have a Luke warm shower, it would not get hot. There was cracked tiles, disgusting grout. Everywhere I looked in the restaurant and room there was cobwebs high up with dead spiders and flys. I have a spider phobia and had to move three times in the restaurant to feel comftable with nothing above my head. We paid for bed and breakfast but was shocked to see we had to pay £5 for some things extra (the vegetarian option included) also £2 extra if you want a cappuccino instead of standard coffee. Wouldn’t return, didn’t use the spa the next day as we just wanted to get home.
