It is not a luxurious place, but okay for the money it charges

The staff is amazing, very welcoming and warm. The seeming pool is nice and the view is lovely. Room was clean.

The hotel itself is cheap and quite old. Breakfast is very simple, bare minimum.

what we liked most was the hosts. They were extremely friendly and welcoming. The location is great, it was very peaceful (mid September) and we really enjoyed our stay. The greek style zucchini were exceptional. I really liked the fact that they offered milk alternatives.

Breakfast and food in general were not bad, but not great either. The tea from the coffee machine is just bad. They could at least offer hot water and tea bags, which barely costs anything… (of course they offer that if you pay for it, but that is basic part of breakfast for me). The plant based milk separated in two layers…obviously it was not good anymore. The food from the restaurant was rather expensive and especially the meat was not really fresh. Better use up the products that are going bad in a cake or a stew of the day or whatever and then offer fresh food. Also they served „main breakfast“ which was nice but it is better to inform the guests what is on the plate and see if they line it and want to eat it. For instance we do not eat salami and we got it served = food waste. However, these are just improvement points, otherwise we enjoyed pur stay a lot

nice, cozy, clean and quite place

Nice, comfortable, clean room and facilities. Tasty and fresh food. Very friendly and caring staff. Really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend the place for sightseeing in the neighbourhood.

Really nothing to point. If still need to mention something -- couple of signs on the road navigating to the hotel would be helpful, but google maps guided us directly to the hotel without issues.

Lovely family hotel with great view and close to many local attractions

Excellent view to the dam Kardzhali. Great size rooms. Clean and comfortable. The host was super friendly and helpful, we were pointed towards places of interest to visit and all our questions were answered. There's good hearing in the rooms supplied by an AC and local heating. The curtains are thick and dark, allowing you to block the sunlight in the morning if you wish so. Overall we're pleased with our stay and would stay at the hotel again.

Comfortable but a bit unkempt. Otherwise lovely place for a short stay, close to the dam and nature walks.

Next to a sewer; the room and the pool stank. There is a restaurant next to the pool which makes swimming awkward. It is an apartment complex and not a hotel. The rooms are memes as suites on booking but the staff calls it apartments. The review rate of this 'hotel' is way to high. We've stayed at 12 hotels during our round trip and this was definitely the worst.

Beautiful scenery & great breakfast

The location was absolutely superb overlooking the lake and the hills. The room was big and comfortable with a nice view towards the pool and the lake. The pool closes overnight so there aren't any annoing noises coming from it. The hosts were realy friendly and helpful Breakfast was really tasty and the overall stay was very nice.

The place gets very quiet at night and the walls are quite thin. If your neighbors aren't very thoughtful you might end up irritated by the noises they make.

After all positive reviews, we expected a great experience, and we got it!

The hostess and her daughter took care of all our needs in a very friendly and professional way. Great home cooking, great beds, great internet. English spoken. The hotel is small enough to feel almost exclusive, located on the waterfront of the damn with great views. 40 min from Perperikon and provides a great relaxation and recharge for exploring further the east Rodopi!
