Very comfy bed, friendly receptionist however traffic very loud at night and people staying above the room had no consideration for other people as were very loud most of the night however that is out of the owners control. Lovely breakfast.

It was welcoming and friendly and we were able to get into our room and park as we had requested this earlier.
The room to a while to heat up.

Comfortable accommodation (with parking ) in a very good location for the hospital and the city centre. We were greeted by the host who was lovely . There was good WiFi and the continental breakfast had alot of choice. The bed was comfortable and the shower efficient . There was a nice selection of teas, coffee and hot chocolate in the room.

Location
Not really a Hotel, no hot water in the shower, heating living its own life, breakfast quite simple

The location
The property was in a terrible condition , in fact if I could of found another property in the time restraints I had, we would of checked out and went to the another hotel,. The bathroom was full of mould in every area , the toilet seat was bare MDF , there was bare wires showing on the bed side lamp and the fire sign on the door gave no numbers to ring in an emergency or a route out of the building if there was a fire or the building was full of smoke , I booked through booking.com and I hasten to say I will not be using them again because they are advertising this hotel as a 4 star and it definitely is not .

nothing to dislike our stay was good for a one night.

Convenient for the John Radcliffe Hospital. Character. Cosy. Beverage making. Host very helpful in allowing us to have the key early. Liked the fact that the water, tea, coffee and chocolate were replenished daily, also towels.
We were very grateful for somewhere warm and cosy as our son was in the hospital seriously ill. Thank you.
Bathroom door needed a hook for dressing gown. The hair dryer in the bathroom didn't work. One of the curtains needed fixing. One of the single beds really needs a new mattress as a bit lumpy. Shower leaks around the joint. Just needs a bit of a freshen up.

Great location for visiting partner in J R hospital, easy 10 min walk.

On arrival, woman at front desk unfriendly and not helpful. Bathroom towels so thin and worn, ripped with further use. Heating in room far too high

This location was perfect for us! We loved having a bus stop right outside the front door and there were also good restaurants nearby. Our room was very clean and comfortable. While the furniture is older, things were comfortable and the bathroom was beautifully remodeled. We loved the view out of our window: a gorgeous apple tree! And the neighborhood was very quiet--we enjoyed having our windows open!
While our room was very clean, we didn't get the same impression from the public shared spaces. Those could have been cleaner and much less cluttered.

Serene welcomed us what a lovely individual. Bus route to Oxford city centre and return right outside the guesthouse which was perfect. Serene very helpful and informative. I had a hospital appointment at the manor hospital Nuffield . This property was perfectly located for the hospital(5 min walk) and for city centre 12 min on bus.
All good

Location was near to Oxford Brookes University. Great to have onsite parking. Nice room overlooking garden, quiet location even though near a busy road.
Furniture quite old. walls needed painting again, bit dirty in places. Overpriced for quality of furnishings. Big difference in price booking through Booking.com or direct with hotel.

Its quiet despite being located on the main road. Its quaint and I enjoyed my room facing the trees and quiet neighborhood. It was also 6mins walk to the only Anytime Fitness gym in Oxford.
This property is about 15mins away by car from Oxford city centre, which meant for those wanting to be walking distance to the action, you are not. Thought to mention this.

I was in Oxford for work at the hospital. Dial House was only a 9 minute walk to the hospital so location wise, it was excellent for me. My room was spacious and clean and my bed comfortable.
Nothing, all good.

A nice guest house with good on site parking. The staff, were very friendly and helpful. The room was good and clean, the breakfast was a continental type, with eggs fried, poached, etc if requested.
The location is about 1.5 miles from the city centre. There are very good bus services, just across the road taking you into Oxford and the return will drop you off right outside the Dial House. The 400 and 8 will take you into Oxford High Street, I'd recommend the 400 on the day saver ticket, but can only be used on the no 400.
There are plenty of local shops, within 5 minutes walking distance from Dial Guest House, also pubs and places to eat, which are all value for money.
There is also a very regular bus service to London, which offers a day return.
No negative comments to make.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience during my stay! The lady at the front desk was amazing, so friendly, helpful, and welcoming. She even gave me a phone charger when I lost mine (left behind by a previous guest), which was incredibly thoughtful.
The room cleaning was excellent, everything was spotless and refreshed daily. I had requested a room with a bath, which they said was possible, but unfortunately, none were available when I arrived. That was a bit disappointing, but not a big issue in the end.
I was able to have a late checkout, which I really appreciated. There were a few small cobwebs in the room, but overall, the great service and kindness of the staff made my stay truly enjoyable. I’ll definitely be back!

We had a very pleasant stay and the owners were quite kind and accommodating.
It was a bit distant from the center but the bus stop is right across the street. The system runs smoothly and often.

Excellent location for anyone working or visiting Oxford. Numerous buses to take into town or return home in the evening or even late at night. The bus returning from Oxford stops directly in front of the Dial House Guest House.

I had a good night's undisturbed sleep and a refreshing hot shower. I would stay again, should there be a need.

It's right on the main road in headington. Can walk into Oxford city in 30 minutes or get a bus right outside the guest house.
King-size room was cramped and appeared to have been a converted twin room. They put 2 single beds together, and covered with sheets ave duvet. The mattress was hard on one side and soft on the other side because the 2 single beds obviously had different mattresses.
The room felt cramped and did not have the features advertised by photograph on the website.
The building and decor felt dated and used, not what I'd expect for the price. The operators should not have accepted the booking for a double room when what they had was a twin room.

Large house, vaguely feeling like an old country house. Garden out back that would be nice in sunny weather. King room had a large bed. All you can eat buffet breakfast. Quiet while I was there.
Very awkward car park - bring a small car if you can. Breakfast *isn't* included in the room rate - it's £8 per person per morning. Pillows sadly were horrible hard things - bring your own if you can. Could do with a more comfortable chair in the room. I'm being a bit picky here, but the TV could have stood being lower on the wall to make it less of a strain looking up at it.
