Such friendly hosts, smooth process, great stay!

The hosts were fantastic and so helpful. Allowed us to check in waaaaay in advance, and even went out of their way to provide milk etc for breakfast. While unnecessary (since we checked in really early), this was a lovely thought and we appreciated it. Everything was spotless and the sofa bed was a nice extra we didn't need but came in handy for lounging in front of the tv. Easy check in, smooth process from start to finish. We had a wonderful time!

Lovely and cozy

Cozy, warm, clean, convenient! Only thing I would like to request for next time please is a wee (no pun intended) night light for the bathroom as when getting up for a wee in the dark, my eyeballs tried to crawl back to bed at the brightness 😂 But no, in all seriousness, we loved it and will definitely stay next time we are in Belfast, thank you!

Lovely, modern, clean accommodation in a perfect location!

A beautiful, clean, well-appointed and completely self-contained flat in a very safe and quiet area. It was perfect for a friend and I for a long weekend - I took the bed, I took the fold-out and it worked out perfectly. We were very comfortable and the location was perfect for getting into Belfast as well as visiting relatives nearby (buses run regularly, and the cab fare was about £15 one way to city centre when we needed it). The host communicated very well - we had explicit instructions both via message and in the property book, which we were able to read easily and thus had all questions answered in advance. Would recommend this to anyone!

We had a great stay, reasonably priced, and a gorgeous little apartment!

We loved how the suite was separate from the main house which meant we could come and go when we pleased. The bus stop being located right outside was a bonus!

This unit is close to Belfast and perfect for a couple or solo traveler.

The size was perfect for the two of us. Breakfast cereal, pastries, coffee and tea were provided, and as we’re not big breakfast people, it was just the right amount of food. The unit is in the back of the main house and provided privacy and easy access. The hosts were gracious and respectful.

The unit is located in a very busy area, and is more of a city than a suburb that we expected. We’re coming from a more rural area and found it to be very challenging to drive in the area. It is close to Belfast and we enjoyed touring the Titanic museum. However, Belfast is difficult to drive in and parking is next to impossible to find. We chose to spend the second day touring a smaller town instead of attempting to drive in Belfast. That being said, this was not the fault of the owners, we should have researched the area better before booking and understood our own challenges with driving in a busy area. If you’re looking for a place close to Belfast, the unit and area is a perfect choice!

Great break, ideal accommodation

They say good things come in small packages well this was no exception. Had everything you need for a couple . Bed was mega comfy , shower great, cereals and milk provided for breakfast. Was close to many eateries and the bus stop was right at the property.

It would be good for 2 people but was a crush for the 3 of us and this was not clear upon booking. Parking into a small space off a busy road was difficult getting out.

Perfect place to stay for Belfast.

We had a pleasant stay in Lorraine’s little cottage on our trip to Belfast. It’s a really quiet place in the backyard of the main road. The bus stops quasi in front of the house and it brings you directly to the city center. Very good conversation with the owners.

Ideal for our purpose just out of Belfast city.

A really nice self-contained studio at the back of the property. Bedroom/bathroom with all that was required and small lounge/kitchen. Complimentary tea/coffee, biscuits, breakfast cereals, milk and wrapped breakfast pastries. TV if required. The location is a little out of Belfast but buses stops are right outside the door for a range of frequent and easy routes into the city [30 - 40 mins] It suited us as parking at Beechwood was ideal. We only had a limited time - 2 nights and one full day. We crammed Giant's Causeway [1 hour self drive] and City Tours Belfast [1hour 30 min round trip] into our full day. Restaurants - The Chubby Cherub [Chichester St] and Thai Village [Dublin Road] were both very good. A must visit - The Crown Liquor Saloon, Great Victoria Street [National Trust]

Immaculate self contained living cabin/unit with all amenities provided. On a major public transport route giving easy access to Belfast City centre, and also very close (walking distance) to quite a variety of suburban shops and restaurants. Superb communication to/from owners, highly recommended base allowing you to explore.

The Perfect Getaway

Breakfast was very good hot porridge and great tea. That is all we eat in the mornings. The kitchen area was perfect size extremely clean and the crockery and cutlery and glasses very good quality. The new bed was perfect. The suite is beautiful and so confortable to stay in. The location of the suite is so quiet great for relaxing after a hectic day. Great area for quick access to every part of Belfast and for going further in any part of Northern Ireland. We stayed before and we will be back again and again. Super friendly hosts who make everything is spot on for our stay. Perfect place to stay. Great selection of places to eat and shop right on the door.

We loved everything about the property. It was cosy, comfortable, clean and had everything we needed for our stay. It was really easy to get to Belfast town centre as the bus stops right outside the property. Parking was great. The host were lovely.

Perfect short stay accommodation

It’s a really nice, well equipped, self contained little suite that was perfect for our needs on our short stay to visit friends and do a few tourist bits. It is really well situated close to Belfast with some great amenities within a few minute walking distance which is ideal. Breakfast is a handy selection of cereals and croissants. Tea & Coffee is provided and some milk in the fridge ready to go. It is a little home away from home which suited us perfectly. The owner is very friendly & even went above and beyond helping us out with some ice packs after a little accident involving an ankle whilst we were out and about on our first day.

If you’re taller than 6”2 & broad, it’s unlikely you’ll fit in the double bed with another person. As well as memory foam mattresses are rated we personally found it a little uncomfortable. The sofa bed was a bit more comfy though :).

Excellent place to stay, no need to contact the owners at all because your needs are met with a quality, clean and comfortable place to stay. It is not too far from the city centre, with a bus stop right outside the Guest house with regulars buses, the city is quick and easy to access.

Warm and Welcoming

Accommodation was immaculate and you are welcomed with open arms on arrival, with everything you could need in the accomodation from an Iron to a microwave, it literally is a home from a home. A great deal of care has gone into this accommodation to ensure your stay is without fault. Public transport is right outside the door and only a short bus journey into town but also Glengormley itself has an array of shops, eateries etc as well. Keep up the good work folks and all the best for the future.
