Hotel Loge Winterthur

War für eine Geschäftsreise dort (Startup), das Hotel ist super zentral gelegen, tolles Konzept (eigenes Kino!), und lockere Atmosphäre. Schöne, neue Zimmer, sehr freundliches, junges Personal. Außerdem: Es gibt um die Ecke einen mega-schönen Co-Working Space "Zum Hinteren Hecht", zum Arbeiten und für Termine ideal. Absolute Empfehlung!

The location was very good and I had a beautiful sunrise photo. Friendly staff. Quiet at night. Cute hotel.

Nothing really!

The hotel is just perfect. The staff is so kind, the breakfast is arranged with love and has everything you need, and there’s a great lounge and outdoor area to spend time outside your room. The free access to the movies is like the cherry on top!

There was nothing to dislike. I wouldn’t book it again during Albanifestival, as it gets very loud, but that’s nothing the hotel is to be held responsible for.

The hotel is in the old town, surrounded by many bars and restaurants, close to a couple of local public transport stops, and not far from the main station (some 10 minutes walk). The room was alright size-wise, balcony was nice but lacking a sunroof, though the view over the inner yards was nice. Coffee machine on the 1st floor was useful and made a decent coffee, and there was a vending machine for some snacks and drinks. Staff was super friendly and helpful.

No AC in summer is bad, and the small fan that was in the room was incapable and noisy. Opening windows meant we heard everything neighbours talked about on the balcony, plus which cigarettes they smoked, so wasn't an option till well past midnight, but even then there was a lot of noise from people being festive (we were there Fri/Sat) , police/medical sirens etc. Balcony without sunroof meant it was usable only at night. Beds with way too warm linen, hot even if not covering oneself. It's probably OK on a shoulder season or in winter, but in summer it's not great.
