Room was lovely and good size, large bathroom. Bed was very comfortable Breakfast on patio in the morning sun was lovely. Jackie was the perfect hostess.

There was nothing we did not like.

Location and food very nice and helpful lady at breakfast and coped well on her own.

On arrival, Room was set up in bathroom for single occupancy! Shower gel was empty so had to go to reception twice. Plus 5.30 a late check in! Disappointed at dinner as Lucas was very friendly and helpful but I said we would like wine and he suggested a Swiss wine, I said would like 5 Dls. He never offered me a wine list and I assumed he was offering the house wine! Then he came to the table with a bottle and let me try it! I asked how much the bottle was and he said he wasn’t sure but about 50ish. Then he poured 5dls into a decanter! on checking the bill we were charged 55 chfs for these 5 dls where he should have advised us we could have the whole bottle for the same money! So we were very disappointed and now will not trust a waiter again but always ask to see a wine list. very disappointed! Breakfast disorganised but nice lady coped as well as she could on her own with the situation!

The hotel is new, nice and clean. Less than 10 mins drive to Winterthur. The owner is friendly. Nespresso Machine in the room and mini bar with some refreshments.

No air-conditioning in the room. But in winter it’s fine, just opened the window a little bit. There’s a long transparent glass on the top of the bathroom so when I switched on the bathroom light in the morning, it disturbed my daughter who was still sleeping. It’s not practical at all. Breakfast was so limited. So little of choices. It could be better.

I am still waiting for my Invoice. Yesterday night I spent half an hour try to explain to the person at the reception to fill my VAT number into the invoice. This morning again. I did make a request for an invoice on my booking reservation. They promised to send it by email. It's not so difficult.... Its a lovely hotel, but absolutely too far expensive in comparison to the service they offer.

The room and bathroom were excellent. Free soft drinks and tea and coffee. Bed very comfortable.

Breakfast was not much choice. Could be because of corona time.

Great staff that makes you feel really welcome! Good quality rooms. Clean and cosy. And if you are lucky you may have the opportunity to listen to very good band playing nice music down at the bar/reception!

We had specified Gluten and Dairy free and the hotel did a splendid job of providing a breakfast accordingly. What is more, nothing was too much trouble and we were treated very well. The bathroom was very well designed. There was a drawer underneath the sink, containing the hair dryer and some other things which was a clever piece of design and the walk-in shower was excellent. The double bed was very comfortable and well designed. Everywhere was very clean especially the interior of the drawers for storing clothes which is not always the case with hotels.

Saturday evening and there was a musician playing a set just underneath our window and it went on until very late. This meant that it was impossible to sleep until after midnight. Next visit I shall ask for a room at the back of the hotel.

Neuf et soigneusement décoré. Le restaurant de l’établissement était une belle découverte et la cuisine thaï somptueuse

Tout est bien pensé pour une entrée individuelle avec boîte à clé, néanmoins, une présence physique est toujours sympa. Heureusement le personnel du restaurant reste disponible.

Das Frühstücksbuffett könnte um frische Gurke/Tomate, Ei und mehr Obst erweitert werden, das wäre bei dem Preis wünschenswert.

Das Personal… und die Lage direkt an der Strasse, zu laut

Es hat uns alles sehr gut gefallen, vor Allem, weil wir eigentlich in einem anderen Hotel in Winterthur gebucht hatten und dort nach einer Nacht ausziehen mussten, weil das Hotel ein Albtraum war. Das Hotel Sonne ist fantastisch! Es hat sehr schick eingerichtete Zimmer und schöne Bäder, die Matratzen und die Regendusche sind super. Alles ist sehr sauber. Das Hotel befindet sich an einem Kreisel, also an einer Straße, aber dort ist nicht viel Verkehr, da der Ort klein ist. Es gab keinen störenden Verkehrslärm. Im EG befindet sich ein tolles thailändisches Restaurant, das Thai Lodge, das auch sehr liebevoll eingerichtet ist. Das Essen dort ist fantastisch. In den Restauranträumen findet morgens auch das Frühstücksbuffet für die Hotelgäste statt. Man hört abends bei offenem Fenster den Gastronomiebetrieb auf der Terrasse, aber die Fenster sind sehr gut gedämmt, wenn man in dem Zeitraum die Fenster schliesst, hört man absolut nichts. Es gibt auch eine Klimaanlage in dem Zimmer. Ich muss in einigen Wochen noch einmal in diese Gegend und habe das Hotel Sonne wieder gebucht. Was ich sehr positiv fand: das Buffet war klein, aber sehr gut. Man muss ja nicht zig verschiedene Lebensmittel zur Auswahl haben und dann wird fast alles entsorgt, weil es nur einen Tag frisch ist. Es gab für jeden etwas, alles war frisch, der Tee und Cappuccino war sehr gut, aber es war nicht riesig und keine Verschwendung, Ausserdem war das Frühstück im Preis enthalten. Auch die Schlüsselübergabe durch einen Briefkasten mit Code hat sehr gut geklappt.

Nichts, alles war gut.

המלון נראה חדש לגמרי, המיטה היתה נוחה, מקלחת מאובזרת. הכניסה עם קוד שקיבלנו, ההוראות היו ברורות, ארוחת הבוקר היתה נחמדה די בסיסית. יש בר בצמוד מלון

התארחנו בקומה השניה, יש חלונות תקרה שמאירים בבוקר. המקום נוח אם רוצים לעצור בדרך , פרט לכך עיירה קצת שוממת

Très belle chambre, pour une famille de 4 personnes (suite), propre et bien équipée. Le check-in ainsi que les clefs pour entrer dans l'hôtel ou dans la chambre sont virtuelles et l'accès se fait via une app/webpage. Un grand parking est à disposition pour les clients, le petit déjeuner était bon.

Lors de notre visite un vendredi soir, il y'avait un événement "pop-up" dans le bar de l'hôtel. Ce serait bien de prévenir lors de la réservation si un tel événement est en cours, car la musique était forte jusqu'à assez tard, et le parking du coup très occupé. (Notre chambre était juste au dessus du bar)
