A glorious hidden oasis in Paraty Historic town that is spacious, luxurious and a wonderful respite.

Breakfast was amazing. Location was amazing.

The Street vendors can be noisy, but they made sure to have them finished up early enough to not be a problem. We had a guy trying to sell a bird whistle so he was making noise with it, which got obnoxious after a while.

No iron or drinking water provided in the room. For the nightly amount charged that should absolutely be included.

The property has an excellent location and it’s a heritage building. The breakfast is very good and the selection is great.

The property is listed as a 4 star hotel. However, it feels like somewhat of a “hybrid”, as it has elements of a 5 star quality. (And honestly the price is 5 star!) Following suggestions are intended for Sandi to become a luxury boutique hotel: - provide a few bottles of complimentary water in the room - a water boiler/cattle + tea in the room ( in addition to coffee) - the in-room safety deposit box is antique and needs to be replaced - Kleenex is a must in every hotel bathroom. Having to use toilet tissue somehow feels odd. - Room 106 had the electrical sockets behind the bed head. Guest, generally, charge their phones next to the bed head, which is impossible in 106. Easy and inexpensive to fix by moving the sockets. - small face towels in the bathroom would certainly be a big plus for female travelers. Especially since 106 doesn’t have a hand held shower. - a good selection of wine by the glass needs to be made available at the bar. The current wine list is not very helpful.
