The location was spectacular, on a quiet street within walking distance of the whole old town.
Check-in was very efficient and the room was spotless.
Breakfast was excellent.
The staff were very friendly and helpful
The stairs were slightly scary to climb with the suitcase as there isn't a bannister.
Bathroom was small but functional.

What a lovely stay! The staff are so warm and welcoming, and the room was very comfortable. Enjoyed the breakfast as well.
this isn't a negative aspect, just FYI - being so far down in the historic center close to the water, the street can flood during high tide. This is part of the charm of Paraty, but plan accordingly if you're banking on dragging a large roller suitcase around this part of the historic center
