Fantastic stay in the heart of the old city.

Facilities are excellent, location is amazing, close to everything. Breakfast is wonderful, with everything one may need and more, even some local delights. I believe this is one of the best Posadas in town. Will definitely come back. The pool is nice, the sauna is great, the lobby and lounges are beautiful for winding down after a long day and read a book or simply rest and contemplate. Definitely recommend it.

The property is at the edge of the town. Close to everything but you don’t hear the crowd noise.

Great location and attentive staff

The hotel is in a great location and the staff is fantastic. Very nice swimming pool and bar. Good breakfast. The rooms were large and the shower amazing.

Not a good cost/benefit. The shower is amazing but I had a cold shower one day because we run out of hot water. The internet was down for 80% of the time. We were asked to book a time slot for breakfast because the hotel was full. If you are paying over $300 dollars a night, that is not the experience you expect.

Relaxing and clean "resort" property right in the middle of the historic core of Paraty.

The location was perfect, although a bit noisy. (This is a party town on weekends, so this was to be expected.) The staff were very friendly and helpful. The property grounds were large and comfortable.

The shower. This is the only hotel in which I have ever stayed where you have to worry about running out of cold water. The shower water was scalding hot. Also, there was not a lot of space to store one's clothing.

Unacceptable behavior towards hosts

Personnel at the pool were very nice. Great breakfast, even with lactose free milk. Wonderful pool. Clean sheets. Nice rooms.

The bed in my room was broken and gave me terrible back pain. I couldn’t enjoy my days on vacation because of it. Not only they wouldn’t apologize or want to compensate for that with a discount, but they also suggested I was the one who broke the bed. Plus, there were cockroaches in the hotel aisle.

Well located four star luxury

The hotel is super well located right amidst the animation of restaurants, bars and shops. The Pousada is quite big but because of the antique construction this does not bother. The swimming pool area is nice. the pool is big enough for a pleasant dip, there are sun layers and there is a bar where all kinds of drinks are availability to be taken on the well designed sofas. We had apartment 205 which gave nice views on the mountains. The room was quite big with a nice bed. The staff members of the pool bar are nice and always at your service. The whole place is well care taken after. We enjoyed are stay and find the Pousada really recommendable. We stayed four nights.

We have no complaints. The Pousada is really ok. we read in reviews that some people found the breakfast (cafe da manha) “awesome”. But this is an over statement. The breakfast is good fully according to the Brazilian standard. But not “awesome”. The scrambled eggs where tasteful and the (strong) coffee was good. With the price we paid we think that the sheets good be changed at least once.

Beautiful pousada in the center of Paraty

The hotel is located in the historical center of Paraty. We got a room close to the pool but it was not loud at all. It was not particularly big but comfortable and clean. Breakfast has a variety of options, including nice fresh juices and fruit.

Not everyone from the staff speak English.

It was a great stay! We enjoyed the hotel and Paraty a lot!

The breakfast was pretty good with lots of options. Not sure if there was many vegan options, apart from fruits. The location was as good as expected as I was looking for a place close to the historic centre and the beach and that was perfect.

We had a great stay. I don't think there's anything we could complain about. The bedroom was clean, the service was pretty good. There was massage, sauna, swimming pool. We didn't use the room service, so can't talk much about it.

Wonderful stay in Paraty!

We loved our stay at Pousada Porto Imperial! The pousada is in a perfect location in the historic center of Paraty near all shops and restaurants, but it accessible via car. The valet parking was super convenient and the staff were extremely nice and helpful. Breakfast was great, the pool/bar area is beautiful, and overall the pousada is kept very clean. Lastly, the pousada itself is a beautiful, charming building with a lot of character. We would definitely stay here again if we return to Paraty and would recommend Pousada Porto Imperial to our friends! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Établissement très agréable qui permet d’être en pleine osmose avec la nature environnante.

Bel endroit pittoresque, superbe piscine, bar extérieur agréable.

Malheureusement, notre chambre était mitoyenne de la piscine et du bar en extérieur : gênes et bruits divers durant la journée, pas idéal pour le repos.
