Very pleasant stay with the entire family.

Very well located family run Hotel and Restaurant. Playground for kids and skittle alley at the property. Train station for regional trains at 100m. Hiking trails start behind the house. Ideal for kids.

Hotel is awesome and located in very beautiful place. During Christmas Hotel was decorated very well and it was like filmy. My wife and I enjoyed a lot. I uploaded some pics😊 from Hotel Black Forest is very near and can enjoy beautiful drive when it’s snowing 😊😍

Location is nice, but if is it possible, try to find another accommodation.

The room was good, spacious, clean. Even if outside was hot during the summer days, inside was an agreeable temperature. Quiet location, near the forest and a river. Not that much noise from the road next to the property. Reasonably quiet. Rustic and picturesque.

Elevator: There is no elevator. Mattresses: The mattresses and the sheets are low quality, or medium... We sweated during the sleep. Check-in: When we arrived at the property for check-in, only a lady was polite and nice with us while the owner did not pay attention, he always stand/lean with the back to us. During our whole stay the owner was grumpy and rude. He might be selectively polite with others, but not with us. Breakfast: Standard, everyday the same, no changing: “Brötchen”, boiled egg, cheese, butter, ham, salami, jam and coffee. No vegetables. At the beginning of the accommodation, we received a paper form to tick what we would like to eat at the breakfast. Even if we mentioned scrambled eggs or fried eggs, we always got boiled eggs. And, it seems that the owner try to recover some “Brötchen”, possibly cheese, butter (when possible), and probably they give these to other persons at the breakfast. Afternoon break: During the afternoon, there is a break when nobody is available at the reception and the doors of the property are closed. Keep the room key and main door key with you. Please check by phone and try to arrive during check-in hours to avoid waiting until the end of the afternoon break. Conclusion: I would select another accommodation next time.

Superb

Beautiful terrace outside where you can have a delicious meal. Rooms are comfortabel and spacious with a balcony. We were looking for a hotel in Gengenbach but didn't find a hotel with a balcony or patio. A waiter in Gengenbach told us about this place and we were glad we drove a little further to stay here. Good food, nice host, spacious room and a good breakfast. All for a low price.

In viaggio verso i Paesi Bassi ci siamo fermati una notte per visitare la graziosa Gengenbach.. l’hotel è piccolo e carino, la stanza ampia e pulita, il personale molto cortese. Non abbiamo usufruito del ristorante ma a giudicare dalla gente che c’era direi che potesse essere molto buono!

Un piccolo consiglio sulla colazione. C’era una buona scelta per chi ama il salato ma per me, che amo il dolce, non c’era niente ad eccezione di pane burro e marmellata (peraltro molto buona): aggiungere qualcosa di dolce (magari una torta fatta in casa) sarebbe sicuramente un valore aggiunto.

Zimmer war sehr sauber. Die Matratzen waren sehr gut. Die Dusche komfortabel. Das Frühstück war gut und ausreichend, der Kaffee lecker und die Frühstückseier heiß 😁 was will man mehr.

Es gibt immer Menschen die größere Erwartungen haben wenn sie sich hier einchecken. Wir haben nichts zu bemängeln und kommen beim nächsten Besuch der Verwandten gerne wieder.

Prima Unterkunft- für mich nur viel zu laut.

Frühstück war gut, Service nett.

Zu dicht an der Straße, man konnte kein Fenster öffnen. Dichter Verkehr auch Nacht s. Bowlingbahn bis 22 Uhr direkt unter dem Zimmer.

Molto bella e spaziosa la camera, pulita, bagno grande. Forse un po' buia,ma molto confortevole. Colazione buona. L'intera location è molto caratteristica ed accogliente. Molto cordiale il titolare.

Magari metterei una macchinetta per le bevande calde (ora viene chiesto cosa si preferisce) e aggiungerei i cornetti.

Lekker Duits ontspannen

Gewoon lekker kneuterig Duits gasthuis. Lekker simpel Duits ontbijt met een gekookt eitje en een zurig Duits broodje met een plak kaas en lekkere bak koffe. Midden in het zwarte woud. Wij waren op de terugreis van Italië en dit was een heerlijke rustige stop. Lekkere bedden. Gewoon doen dus.

Zeer vriendelijk personeel/uitbaters! Lekker eten in de avond, aan te raden. Prima ontbijt, het is een basis ontbijt maar is voldoende variatie. Mooie wandelingen in de buurt.

Iets te zachte kussens -- is een persoonlijke mening. Er waren wel nog extra kussens aanwezig in de kamer.
