Excellent stop. We wanted to stay another night but it was fully booked.

Location was great, on a favourite bikers' road. Dinner and breakfast were delicious. Room was spacious and comfortable. Great to park the bikes in free parking under cover. Fab to have a terrace off our room.

Would benefit from air-conditioning and better toiletries.

Magical

Nestled in the heart of the magical black Forrest. This hotel transports you to a world you have never been before. It’s beautiful, cozy and authentically German. The Staff Karen and others are fantastic and very pleasant and helpful. I cannot wait to return.

I had to walk to and from Oppenau town center. Around 30 minute walk and there is no real walking path. A shuttle to and from the town center would be perfect.

Great location to stay for hiking to Allerheiligen Wasserfälle and Klosterruine

Excellent breakfast buffet with cappuccino, coffee, espresso, etc. included with the room. Supper menu was great with many options. Room was very clean with bathroom plus shower and included a balcony with chairs and table.

Reception was a little confusing as the restaurant is the main reception desk, but we quickly got it sorted out.

Wonderful stay

This hotel is wonderful, located in a beautiful area with a little river nearby. It is quiet and rooms are comfortable, everything is spotless clean and decorated in warm and calm colors. The team here was very welcoming and warm, nice and responsive to our requests. There is also a restaurant with a wide variety of dishes - our choice was absolutely delicious and the service was very good. The breakfast next day had a lot of options suitable for different diets and very tasty. I was impressed by the details like the classical coffee kettle. All in all, our stay here exceeded my expectations and I definitely recommend the hotel and the restaurant.

Everything was good. The location is very good. You can go to so many places around like Baden-Baden, Strasbourg and Oppenau. The view we had from the room is pure gold. I will miss it!

We had a great stay.

The staff are really friendly and helpful. Breakfast is fantastic! So much choice, even for me as a non meat eater, I was very well catered for. My children loved the special considerations to their needs, both in the restaurant and the facilities.

Short stop on our way to Austria

Offered a garage for my motorcycle as soon as we arrived and a dinner booking, food here is excellent, dinner and breakfast, plenty of choice, nice clean hotel, great views, lovely terrace, good location. Helpful staff who spoke my language perfectly, thanks all

I didn't book the room with breakfast

I'm vegetarian and they could have probably had more vegetarian options on their dinner menu, as there were no supermarkets anywhere within 4 km of the hotel. All I could get was boiled vegetables for dinner.
