Nice rooms, but door code didn’t work and we couldn’t get in

The room was nice and close to the highway.

The communication and information regarding the booking and door codes we’re very confusing. We had booked 2 double rooms and came in late, but we were unable to open up one of the doors and ended up sleeping 2 children and 2 adults in a double room with 2 people on the floor unfortunately. Since we arrived after 10pm there were noone to call or contact. The hotel keeps saying that it was our one fault since they’ve checked it afterwards and the door worked which was not the case when we arrrived. I should also have received a link but this was not obvious. So new and usable procedures in the future please.

Disgusting

The location and parking situation were acceptable but almost every other aspect of the stay was not.

We found human excrement smeared all over the children’s beds just before they were due to go to bed. The reception had to come and change all the sheets. It was filthy disgusting. Our room stank of smoke. Terrible nights sleep, I was sick most of the night. I will never stay here again and I will be asking booking for a full refund. The managers still haven’t contacted me for an apology three days later so now I will be taking further action, legal and local council / sanitation if possible

Value for money for a short trip in the area

The location was close to the centre but also with easy access to the highway for daily trips . Parking garage in reasonable prices just a few meters from the hotel.

We stayed for three nights and the room had not been cleaned.

would be nice to have a small fridge in the room, cleanliness of the breakfast tables could be better - 1 person can not handle cleaning and serving (adding) food when it gets busy.

Ok Hotel

This is like an "Ibis" style hotel. The room is not big but just big enough for 2 persons. The breakfast was 10.5 euros but there were a lot of options so it's worth from my point of view.

Friendly and helpful staff. Convenient location. Clean room and comfortable bed.

Poor breakfast. No driveway access close to the entrance to the building. We had to carry our luggage from the parking garage and it is on some distance.

Close to my company. Ok breakfast.

The beds arent comfortable. The pillows are terrible. I miss a heating body in the bathroom. The light in the bathroom is not extraordinary good for putting makeup on. The lights in the room arent cosy. Unfortunately good enough when there is no availbility in other hotels. :(

Great last minute spot if your DB train gets cancelled

Had multiple trains cancelled or delayed on me and got stuck in Offenburg. This was a more affordable last minute solution. I booked an hour before I arrived and everything went smoothly. The room was excellent. Only a 20 minute walk from the central train station at a decent pace.

If you come late into town most restaurants will be closed, it'd be nice if the vending machine had some more filling snacks. More of a suggestion than a complaint.

Room was very hot heated and hard to change, location next to main road so opening windows reduced sleep time.
