Decently located property with insufficient heating

The location was good. In general the property was good.

Before we reached the property, we informed the property about our time of arrival. When we got there there was no one and we didn't know the code for the building entrance and apartment keys. When we tried to reach the property via phone/message no one responded. I tried almost 50 times calling the property without any success. We had two small kids and we were waiting in the cold weather and we're unable to contact the property. Upon contacting Booking.com, the property called us back 2 hours later. They blamed Booking.com about the miscommunication. While booking told clearly on the phone that it was entirely upon the property to provide us the code and the keys. When we entered the apartment, we noticed all the windows were opened. It was almost 0 degree Celsius outside and all the windows were opened. The heaters were not working to it's fullest capacity. We all were absolutely freezing in the night with little kids and they weren't enough blankets in the room. They were provided next day.

Great place in a great place!

The location is amazing, we parked the car outside the apartment block in the allocated bays and didn't need it again until we left. Check in was simple and well explained, with no issues at all. The apartment was spacious clean and had a well equipped kitchen, with dining area next to it in the hallway. Perhaps a microwave would have been useful, but everything else was there for use, i even located the ironing facilities in a cupboard on the balcony. Very nice bed, good shower room. Would recommend, its a great place, in a great place!

The living area let the apartment down in our opinion. There is only a metal day bed to sit on to watch TV, which is not comfortable and made a lot of squeaky noise. More cushions or even just a better sofa bed would make this place top notch.

Disappointing

Quiet neighbourhood, parking, balcony

Apartment did not feel clean, the shower outlet was full, therefore bathroom was full with water after shower. After we brought couch in the sleeping position for kid, we discovered that is very dirty. Couch was also not stable so whenever you made a move it felt unsafe and noisy. The apartment could be ok value for money, but in this case was much overpriced. We would contact the landlord with this issues but we were late home, after whole day in Europa park and we just wanted to rest, unfortunately these issues didn’t give us proper comfort.

Great location, very quite area walking distance to city Centre

There is no induction notes showing the apartment facilities, TV operation, city map, restaurant guide etc., owner is not on site therefore you need to contact the owner prior to arrival. Unfortunately we did not have a working phone at hand.

A few issues that were resolved quickly. Clean, comfortable and safe

Very clean and comfortable apartment with a kitchen and washing machine. it was well suited for our family of 3. Hosts were helpful when small problems arose

The door handle to the bathroom fell apart on our first night. our son was locked in for about 30 mins before we got him out. The hosts arranged to have it fixed as quickly as they could (next morning). The coffee machine was broken but they brought us a new one.

Don't look any further, this is THE address for a perfect stay in Offenburg!!!

As there are many apartments, this review relates to 2nd floor in block 58 (refurbished historical building) to avoid any confusion. Due to COVID situation, we had very few contact with our hosts, late check-in possible which is really really really great. We are coming in the area on a regular basis but we just discovered this great place, great location at walking distance from city center (pedestrian area) and easy access to motorway A5, cozy, quiet, clean, easy car park just in front, great shower, quiet moisture extractor in bathroom, bed was great, not too soft, not too hard, just perfect, small balcony, everything was great except the lack of microwave. Overall score 9.9, we will certainly call again!!!

Ideal para estabelecer como base para uma visita a Baden-Württemberg ou à Alsácia.

O apartamento estava bem equipado, como mobiliário sóbrio, mas adequado. O aquecimento estava ligado e a temperatura esteve sempre ótima. A cozinha estava muito bem equipada.

Não houve nada que eu não gostasse. Tal como já partilhei com o meu contacto através de mensagem privada, apenas o WiFi precisa de um "improvement" pois é muito fraco.

Tolles Ambiente. Das Apartment war einfach richtig schön, es fehlte an nichts Wir haben sehr kurzfristig gebucht (30 Minuten vor Ankunft) und es hat alles reibungslos geklappt Die Lage zur Innenstadt ist gut, neben der Anlage ist ein toller großer Kinderspielplatz

Schöne Wohnung und zentral gelegen nahe am Stadtkern

Wohnung war sehr warm. Es gab zwar Ventilventilatoren die allerdings sehr laut waren. Das Bett im Wohnzimmer war defekt, so dass wir die Matratze auf dem Boden legen mussten.

mit einigen Abstrichen ein ganz netter Aufenthalt

Die Lage des Boardinghaus Alte Spinnerei ist von der Entfernung zur Innenstadt als sehr gut erreichbar zu bezeichnen. Auch die umliegende Ziele Schwarzwald /Elsass mit dem Auto schnell erreichbar

Eine ausführliche Übergabe der Wohnung erfolgt nicht. Durch Zufall an den Schlüssel für die Wohnung gekommen da der Vermieter gerade vor Ort war, ansonsten.......? Eine Erklärung von Kaffee Kapsel Automaten Herd/Spülmaschine/Waschmaschine fehlt komplett. Der Vermieter denkt sich die Anleitungen hierfür kann man sich über das Internet holen. Besteck Teller Tassen etc. sollte man mitbringen da so gut wie nicht vorhanden. Kostenlose Pflegeprodukte- Toilettenpapier/Müllbeutel/Küchenrollen findet man nur als Restbestände vor Streamingdienste Netflix etc. werden dargestellt als ob schon im Preis vorhanden, dem ist nicht so muss extra erworben werden. TV da nur über Router angeschlossen, ist der Empfang von öffentlichen u. Privat Fernsehen nicht möglich. Mediathek ARD ZDF zwar vorhanden da das ganze per Internet läuft mit einigen Aussetzern. Die anderen Apps können gegen Bezahlung freigeschaltet werden. Eine Rechnung über die Dauer des Aufenthaltes warum auch immer erhält man nicht.

Gemütliches Apartment

Tolle Unterkunft, sehr sauber und wirklich gemütlich eingerichtet. Der Balkon war sehr schön zum verweilen. Ein Spielplatz ist direkt vor der Tür. Auch der Bäcker ist nicht weit. In der Küche war alles vorhanden was man für einen Aufenthalt benötigt.

Die Matratze war für mich zu hart 🫣. Aber das empfindet jeder anders.
