Montorio

Our stay at Montorio was absolutely wonderful and exceeded all our expectations. The location is truly exceptional: peaceful and surrounded by the beautiful Tuscan countryside, yet very close to the historic centre of Montepulciano. The views are breathtaking, and the atmosphere is perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring Tuscany. Our apartment was charming, spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean. It was beautifully maintained and equipped with everything we needed. The daily housekeeping service was excellent, and every part of the property was cared for with great attention. Stefania was a wonderful host: kind, welcoming, helpful and always available whenever we needed her. She provided us with clear instructions and made both our arrival and our entire stay easy and enjoyable. Montorio was the perfect base for discovering the villages and landscapes of Tuscany, and returning there every evening felt like coming home. We could not have chosen a better place for our holiday. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Montepulciano and the Val d’Orcia. Thank you, Stefania, for an unforgettable stay!

Charming restored building on a hill with an excellent outdoor space for having a wine with a great view of the Sanctuary of the Madonna di San Biagio Tempio di San Biagio and perfect for sunset

The view is amazing and our accommodations were better than expected .

The bed mattresses are not that comfortable . This is our only issue. 99 % of the rest is an A +!

Liked the location and the splendid view

The host could not have cared less. When I arrived the gate was locked. The host finally got me in, but was visibly bothered by having to spend time on a guest. She was not at the property, so when I called to say the TV did not work, she said she would look into it the next morning. She never did. She did the minimum possible, which was not good enough. Buyer beware!
