Good location in the heart of Montepulciano

Chiara is a great host. Gave us direction to the apartment, offered to help us with our luggage, and took the time to show us the apartment and explain everything. The apartment is a short walk to the main sights and restaurants in Montepulciano. Good availability of dishware, cookware and staples in the kitchen (dishwashing liquid, olive oil, salt, pepper, sugar etc)

The downside from the location in the old town is that you cannot reach it by car at anytime during high season. With a lot of luggage and to explore other towns in Val D’Orcia, it can be quite inconvenient. The apartment is quite humid, especially in the lower floor, and the second bathroom was not well ventilated, leading to some mould. It was colder in Montepulciano than usual and outside of the regulated heating period it was quite cold in the apartment. Would be nice to have some basic toiletries available in both bathrooms such as hand wash and shower gel.

Fabulous apartment in an absolutely gorgeous town

Was a lovely relaxed and well equipped apartment with a small garden close to the centre of town. The views from the living room and bedrooms were spectacular. Our host was warm and friendly. She provided great food and shopping s recommendations and let us know about the local festival that was taking place over the weekend. She also recommend a taxi driver for our winery dinner.

Montepulciano was an amazing village to be in, plenty to do and experience.

Loved location, garden and views were stunning.

A microwave and washing machine would be a great asset. Our towels were not replaced for the whole 6 days.

Montepulciano is amazing!

The position was perfect, close to everything, cafes, restaurants, monuments. The apartment is lovely and large with all you need and very clean and comfortable. Lovely outdoor door area with gorgeous roses. Chiara was very helpful and the cafe she works at has great food amazing coffee!!

I would recommend this apartment for your stay in Montepulciano! Once we figured out where to park with Chiara’s help (parking lot 8), the location was great…close to Piazza di San Francesco where we enjoyed a delicious yet affordable dinner and a spectacular sunset, to Piazza Grande where we climbed the Terraza Del Palazzo and ate dinner one night! The kitchen had all of the dishes, pots & pans we needed to prepare and serve a lovely dinner. The bedrooms had glorious views of the countryside! Closing the shutters during the day helped keep the place cooler!

I didn’t enjoy descending the steep staircase and the odor in the lower bathroom…we kept the fan on in the bathroom to help with the mildew smell.

Fabulous

Excellent communication from host Chiara. Lovely, comfortable accommodation and beds. Kitchen was well stocked with cooking equipment and some condiments. Beautiful views from the bedroom windows - so nice to wake up to. Shower was the best we’ve had so far - hot water and good strength. Lovely garden but it was too cool for us to sit outside at this time of year but would be nice in warmer weather. Would recommend highly.

Great 6 days stay in Montepulciano, 7/2022, 4 adults.

Chiara, gave us the keys and drove us and our luggage with her car from the free parking to the apartment. The well-equipped apartment met all the requirements for our family of four, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 toilets and 2 refrigerators. We liked the great terrace the most, where we had breakfast every day and could sit with a glass of red wine in the evening. The terrace and the second bathroom and toilet are down steep stairs and are not suitable for less mobile people. On the last day, Chiara took our luggage to our car in the free parking lot. Thank you very much Chiara, we would love to come back sometime next time.

Exceptional

Stunning location. The courtyard with views of the valley below is a gem. Sunsets from this courtyard are perfect. Location is perfect for walking to all sights in town. The host had great recommendations for dinner. The place is very spacious with nice living room, dining table and kitchen. Stunning bviews from the bedroom window too. There are steps to the apartment and some more to the courtyard that can be a problem if you have a lot of luggage or have trouble with steep steps. Was not a negative for us at all.

Great value , conveniently located apartment with lovely view

Loved the sweet little apartment. The owners were very welcoming and helpful. They were there to meet us when we arrived and showed us how everything worked in the flat. Excellent value!

Not a big problem for us at all, but as a suggestion to the owners, it would be good to have some arrival information about parking and dropping off luggage with the car. You need to tell them your car registration number to be able to enter one specific gate of the old town, if not you'll get a fine if you go through. Just ask the owners and I'm sure they will explain. We were happy to park outside the town and walk in, but if you have more luggage, that might be more difficult.

Comfy 2BR apartment with gorgeous view and garden

Apartment was very spacious (2 BR, 2 bathrooms, living room, dining room, 2 floors, garden), contemporary furniture in a renovated old building, 5 minute walk to main piazza and a lot of restaurants, stunning view, private garden, wonderful owners, detailed directions, across the street from a nice wine cellar. Montepulciano is small and it was an excellent location within the hilltop town.
