Excellent location and nice apartment. The host met us and was very friendly and helpful

We were warned about the steps down to the apartment and this was fine. However, the steps inside the apartment down to the lower level bathroom were tricky with no hand rail. Ok for able people taking it carefully. There was not any milk, instant coffee provided which is unusual when arriving in a place later in the day without any immediate shopping facilities. There is a supermarket nearby so I would advise people to stock up with any supplies you require beforehand

Was a lovely relaxed and well equipped apartment with a small garden close to the centre of town. The views from the living room and bedrooms were spectacular. Our host was warm and friendly. She provided great food and shopping s recommendations and let us know about the local festival that was taking place over the weekend. She also recommend a taxi driver for our winery dinner.

Chiara is a great host. Gave us direction to the apartment, offered to help us with our luggage, and took the time to show us the apartment and explain everything. The apartment is a short walk to the main sights and restaurants in Montepulciano. Good availability of dishware, cookware and staples in the kitchen (dishwashing liquid, olive oil, salt, pepper, sugar etc)

The downside from the location in the old town is that you cannot reach it by car at anytime during high season. With a lot of luggage and to explore other towns in Val D’Orcia, it can be quite inconvenient. The apartment is quite humid, especially in the lower floor, and the second bathroom was not well ventilated, leading to some mould. It was colder in Montepulciano than usual and outside of the regulated heating period it was quite cold in the apartment. Would be nice to have some basic toiletries available in both bathrooms such as hand wash and shower gel.
