Nico and Elena were kind, helpful, and responsive hosts. The apartment was spacious and well-appointed, and the views of the Val d'Orcia countryside below from the little balcony were sublime. Everything was even better than pictured, and we had a wonderful stay. The apartment's in-town location made restaurants and shops accessible on foot. We would be happy to stay here again on return visits.

There was an A/C unit only in the bedroom. An additional A/C unit in the living area or kitchen would have been nice during the hot afternoons, although the mornings and evenings were cool enough this was not a big bother.

The apartment is so lovely, it has a gorgeous view, and it is very central while still very quiet. I can't say enough good things about how helpful the hosts, Nico and Elena, were. The apartment was very well stocked, and the kitchen was lovely and big enough to cook in. The bathroom is so divine that I took a video to send home!. We will choose this apartment next time we come!

The wifi was a bit weak, perhaps because the walls are so thick. Wondering if there could be some repeaters placed in the apartment somewhere. It was a bit difficult to work on the computer (since so many people continue to work while away!). I think they could benefit from having a more comfortable sofa bed. The couch was lovely and true to the era, but the pull-out was not so great. That said, if you didn't need the pullout, the main bed was wonderful!

A comfortable and well appointed apartment with breathtaking views!!

The decor with beautifully restored original tiles, the location in the heart of Montepulciano and of course that view! Restaurants within steps and a lovely little store serving colazione, bruschetta, panini and cappuccino early. Great base to visit wineries, and other towns in Tuscany. Nico & Elena are wonderful hosts! Note for those visiting - Montepulciano is a HILL TOWN, some areas steeper than others. You will always be walking either uphill or downhill to your destination (great for working off the copious amounts of pasta consumed) There are some free and paid parking options just outside the ZTL area but you will need to walk uphill and take stairs to get to the accommodation.
