Very lovely host, cozy room

The room was very cozy and clean. The host Filippo was not there at the time. But his father Giuseppe welcomed us in the beginning. What a lovely host. He met us at the Piazza Grande and accompanied us to the room. He also helped us to find a parking spot as it was very crowded in Montepulciano that night. We didn't reserve a restaurant on the first night. And again, he came to rescue. He helped us reserve a table in a lovely and romantic restaurant next to the house with a jaw-dropping view in the beginning. And it made our stay very special. Will definitely go there again and book the same property.

Not what we expected.

The location was a blessing and a curse. A lovely welcome the host however the small room is Immediately above a lovely but noisy restaurant it was very noisy. The room was clean and well equipped. It has an adjacent washing machine which was useful. There was a view if the window was open and we leaned out. Immediately In front of the restaurant/apartment is a terrace view of the whole valley. It was dark and we found the closed in feel difficult

Directly above a popular and noisy restaurant meant no sleep until it closed. With the windows closed tight it was stuffy. It was dark and claustrophobic . We were woken early and couldn’t sleep until the restaurant closed so became tired. It was dark, with a closed in feel because if the window was open the noise was unbearable.The mattress is like a soft sponge and needs to be replaced.

Cute Apartment. Fantastic Locatiobn

The apartment is the best location in all of Montepulciano right off the main piazza. Every morning, you wake up to a stunning view of the Val d' Orcha. Guisseppi helps run the apartment with his son Fillipo, and they are kind and accommodating hosts. Staying at Torre alle Atiche Mura was one of the best experiences of our entire month long visit yo italy. I can not recommend it highly enough.

The kitchen is small but functional. If you like to cook a lot you will be hampered by its size. Also, the apartment is above the Romantico Restraunt, which can stay open pretty late if there is a good crowd.

Perfect place to stay in Montepulciano. The host was more than welcoming with great recommendations where to eat, have breakfast, drink wine etc. Piazza Grande is just across the corner and the parking place is really very close. The view was stunning. I would definitely recommend this place and will for sure come back here again.

Exceptional

The host Giuseppe was a breath of fresh air. Even before we arrived and were on our way to his apartment, he helped and guided us. He is the most welcoming, loving, kind and charming man you will meet. Very fatherly. We absolutely loved our stay in Montepulciano. The apartment is right behind the main square. It is nothing short of exceptional. Spacious, homely, styled tastefully and beautifully. Everything was well thought of. Even washing powder and sta soft was available to wash our clothes. The towels and even the toilet paper was of a high standard, far better than any hotel.. It really did feel we were living in the medieval times. And the view was just spectacular. Hearing the sound of the roosters and church bells made us feel like the village people. We absolutely loved this place. The apartment itself is far better looking than the pictures. Most of all, the amazing host Guiseppe was a gem. He even gave us a beautiful little sea rock as a sweet memorabilia from thousands of years ago. I would definitely recommend this place anytime!

The view from the two large windows was absolutely breathtaking - the best view you'll find in Montepulciano. The host was so kind and responsive! He reached out in advance to let me know to message him upon arrival, and he greeted us as soon as we got out of the taxi. He was quick to respond to all my questions, made us feel very comfortable. It was the halfway point of our trip, so we were thrilled that washer/dryer was available. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Our group was four adults - me, my mom, and my two brothers - and we intend two adults to a bed. One of the beds is a pull out couch, and thin, therefore only one person could truly fit on it. Maybe a couple would be more willing to share that sofa bed, but too small for two adult siblings. The compromise was worth it considering it was peak of summer vacation and we booked it last minute - ultimately, we were very lucky such a lovely place became available.

Construction directly below and noise above hindered sleeping past 8 am. Difficult parking, mostly pay; Our second time in Multipulciano-was disappointing. Limited restaurants, lots of wine shops, difficult to find groceries and water. Recommend Pienza.
