The best thing about Meininger Hotel Berlin Central is undoubtedly the location. It's literally a one-minute walk from Berlin Central Station (Hauptbahnhof), making it incredibly convenient for trains, public transport, and exploring the city. There are also plenty of food options nearby, including numerous food stalls around the station. We especially enjoyed the short stroll to the excellent Zollpackhof beer garden and restaurant on the river, which was one of the highlights of our visit.
Unfortunately, the hotel itself fell short in several areas. The room was extremely small, feeling cramped even for a short stay with luggage. The biggest issue, however, was the air conditioning. The room became oppressively hot, particularly at night. After we complained, someone came and fixed the air conditioning, but by the very next night it had stopped working again, leaving us once more trying to sleep in an uncomfortably hot room.
Another disappointment was the lack of housekeeping. During our stay, the room was never serviced, and we weren't provided with fresh towels at any point. The hotel does have laundry facilities, which is useful, but while the washing machine was available, the dryer was broken so we had to find another alternative about 1k away.
Overall, the unbeatable location, nearby dining options, and easy access to Berlin's transport network are definite positives. However, the malfunctioning air conditioning, tiny rooms, lack of housekeeping, and broken dryer significantly detracted from what could otherwise have been a much better stay. I would only recommend this hotel if location is your absolute top priority.

The Meininger Hotel Berlin Hauptbahnhof's location is very convenient. The room was enought for our needs. It will be helpful to have toiletries available for travellers also. We had breakfast in the hotel and it was good although a bit crowded
