Lovely relaxing holiday

All very good but options are too big - 1 egg/slice of toast/bacon more than enough to start the day.

I might stay there again (might).

The pool is great with the swim up bar. Rooms are large and reasonably well appointed. The property is right on the beach and there are several bars, restaurants and shops nearby.

The property whilst generally historic in appearance is poorly maintained. My toilet didn’t flush, the air con broke down and one night there was no water for showers etc this did get rectified. Wifi is sketchy at best.

The staff is extremely friendly. They help you where they can and don't expect tips. They hurry to come over to help parking your car.

The beach strip near the hotel is not the best, but plenty of alternatives.

I almost don't want to give the amazing rating for the GB Sani that I know I have to as I want to keep this little gem to myself! I love this hotel; beautiful, helpful and caring staff, lovely gardens and pool, amazing sunset (we were lucky this year), delicious food and cocktails and spacious rooms all set in an oasis from the chaos (which I love also). Grand Bali Sani I will be back!

Location fairly central when walking along the beach to central Seminyak. Good proximity to Finns beach club, Potato head, Mrs Sippy.

The maintenance of the property needs serious attention. The deck planks rotten in places. Blinds look weathered. Coffee pots at breakfast where clumped wirh old coffee, aircon in room needed replacement parts, pool towels old, some with holes, spa area smelled damp (felt unheathy being there)and out dated to name just a few. Breakfast could have some more fruit varieties and yoghurt. And food items covered to avoid flies. No holiday atmosphere .

We loved this authentic balinese Hotel The location is fantastic right on the beach it even has a lawn The staff are wonderful and we enjoyed the breakfast it really is a peaceful place to be and still close to Laksmana Eat street Which in our opinion is not very nice anymore !

Quiet end of Seminyak but loads of interest and Bali charm. Rooms spacious and clean. Choice of good Warrungs close by on the beach. Staff were exceptionally friendly and hospitable. Lovely buffet breakfast.

Overall a good time

We liked our room although the furnishings had seen better days. The pool area is nice and having the bar at the pool is also great. The staff were very friendly and easily arranged a late check-out and bag storage for us for an additional charge. The beach in front of the property is good to walk on but not a swimming beach. Nice little beach restaurants close to the resort. We did not make use of the restaurant or spa at the resort so cannot comment on that.

We didnt appreciate the smokers sitting in the pool and hogging the only area you can actually sit in the pool and the next to the bar. Room smelled a bit damp but that can often happen in Bali.

The location to beach is great . Pool is large and good temperature.

The pool deck is falling apart and needs to be fixed, it’s dangerous. Rooms could be cleaner and taps working properly. Daily water provided of 250ml is not enough. Should be at least 1 litre if drinking water per day.

I admired the architecture of the hotel

The hotel was built a long time ago, the furniture inside is made of natural wood, the villas in the garden are built of stone, something that is very difficult to find nowadays, marble floors in the bathroom, you know what I mean.

During the three days we were here, the Wi-Fi didn't work and the breakfasts were poor. It's a pity that it was impossible to swim in the sea because of the strong waves.

Balinese style building, ponds and plants are beautiful. The hotel is right on the beach, with beach bars right near it to watch the sunset. The hotel is small and that's enjoyable, as it's less busy than a resort style hotel. Staff was excellent. It's quiet. Perfect for a relaxing holiday.

infrastructure was beautiful and traditional, felt like a safe palace in an oasis by the beach.

had an incident with neighbours starting to harass us while I was staying and although staff were able move us to another room for our last night, despite having video evidence of violent harassment from an English couple next door to us, the hotel did not dismiss their stay nor take any action at all against the couple.

The location of this hotel is spot on for a relaxing stay by both beach and pool. The lul of the waves at night made for the best nights sleep.

Our only complaints are the beach is not the safest for swimming and the streets heading to cangu aren't the safest for walking along as there is no footpath and the cars and motorcycles roar past

Good value nice stay if you get a good room

Great quiet and family friendly location. The pool/ beach area is so lovely and relaxing.

Our bathroom smelt very bad, like sewerage. Our friends who also stayed here, did not have the same problem. The staff came to ‘fix’ it and it went away for the evening but was back the next day. Unfortunately this made our stay unpleasant. Everything else about the hotel was lovely.
