A great stay at Petit Tree

What a wonderful little oasis just of a Main Street and a few minutes walk from the beach. I loved the treehouse feel of it in the garden where it was lovely to sit on the patio. The breakfast was outstanding!

What I love about Petit Tree: The location is just perfect — walking distance to the beach, restaurants, and nightlife. Super convenient if you want to explore without needing transport. One of the highlights is definitely the breakfast — wide variety and really delicious. Honestly, I’d come here just for that! This is my second visit, and I really appreciate the consistency in service. The owner puts in a personal touch that makes the stay feel warm and welcoming. Also, a big plus: unlike many properties in Bali that struggle with water issues, Petit Tree brings in fresh mountain water, which is clean and refreshing.

What I don’t like as much: There are quite a few birds chirping in the morning — some might find it peaceful, but it can be a bit much if you’re a light sleeper. And I happened to see a squirrel, which I personally find a bit scary (just my own little phobia!).

A beautiful little tree house type room with nature all around you

My first place to stay in Bali and wow, just what I wanted. Its a quirky tree house with steps to the room and before you enter there is a nice little balcony. This is where I ate my breakfast. They serve breakfast on time and they are delicious. I liked the Nasi Goreng, Hash Brown and Eggs the most. They breakfasts are large. The toilet is downstairs in a separate out building which was fine for me. Lovely shower in there with the ceiling open. Its a beautiful little spot to spend a week in Bali. The place is quite far from the main streets, so it is quiet. The staff were 2 young ladies who are kind and helpful.

Really nice place, with trees and squirrels, nice breakfast. Staff was nice too. In Seminyak, really close to restaurants, clubs, beach. High roof, good light, cosy wooden cabin.

Noise from kids, starting at 6-7 am, downstairs Outside bathroom, but I knew that so it was not a problem. And it is a private bathroom.

cozy wooden house in the heart of Petitenget.

top notch hospitality. All the staffs there were really helpful and friendly. they were always ready to assist you. I love how sustainable they are. I was amazed by it, I also Love the ambience as well, it felt like I was staying in Ubud or any other village in Bali. Breakfasts were great, my favorite was Jaje Bali, it hits the spot as soon I tried it. nostalgic. and Jamu that they made also reminded me of my mother’s back then. kudos for them. bedroom was nice and neat, bathroom was always clean, and I just love sitting on the beanbag outside then watch the semals/squirrels around the star fruit tree. and finally the location, you can easily walk to petitenget beach, minimarts, restaurant and famous beach bars from there.

at the beginning my impression was like huh I need to climb up and down the stairs for the bathroom , would that be a problem for me? but then I stayed there for nearly a week and I had zero problem literally doing that. it was super windy when I was there, and there were tall bamboos next to my room. when the wind blows at night, these bamboos sometimes will bump to the roof, I think it’s safe but it could get quite loud.

Don't underestimate the comfort of a bathroom attached to the bedroom...

location is great and stuff is nice

the fact that the bathroom is only reachable via leaving the room and go down stairs through garden bothered me more than expected. Also wasn't sure if it was private or shared - bit, I knew that in advance... What bothered me was that the AC compressor was directly behind a very thin wall behind the head-side of the bed. Every time it goes on and off I was up. Could not sleep well and ended up turning it off and then woke up from heat... So overall not my thing and I left after 1 night and booked it under "my fault, should have known me better".

Superb

The owner and staff were extremely accommodating, hospitable and welcoming. My flight arrived later so the owner waited up till close to midnight despite usually sleeping at 9pm. It's such a hidden gem in the hustle and bustle Seminyak. The breakfast was outstanding. Despite a power outage and the water running out, I had a pleasant stay here.

The toilet was downstairs while the room was upstairs. There was a power outage and water stopped working. It was not their fault though.

Excellent breakfast, staff and location!

The staff were amazing. Very sweet, kind and helpful! The location is perfect. I was surprised how close it is to everything around Seminyak. Their breakfast was fantastic. Honestly the best breakfast we have had in Bali. Extremely impressed! The rooms are cute and comfortable. Would recommend to anyone looking for a well priced and positioned spot to stay in Seminyak. Thank you so much. We really enjoyed our stay!

My only recommendation would be to ensure the TVs are set up and connected correctly.

Great Little Place.

Great little find away from the busy main street. The 2 quirky rooms are on stills with seperate bathrooms for each room in the grounds of the gardens. Cooking, washing up facilities & a fridge available to use. Great location - 2 mins to shops, bars and restaurants (would recommend Atlas Restaurant) - 5 mins to the beach - Mano Beach Club is a must whilst here.

Little gem in heart of Seminyak

Lovely garden, friendly staff, tasty breakfast with different options, quiet area (you can actually hear river and crickets in the night). They organized motorbike rental for us. Really nice design in the room with big comfy bed. Cozy little terrace with bean bags and two tables for breakfast ot chilling out. Free water, tea, milk and usage of fridge. Shower gel and hand soap smelled awesome! We had early flight so they made us packed sandwiches 😁 Thanks

Toilet is in a separate building and from sunrise room you have to walk down stairs to reach it. The entrance is a bit hidden - Google maps shows it on main street but it is actually on a small street parallel to the main that's not even on the map.

Vi bokade båda rummen och fick känslan av att bo i ett eget hus . Lugnt och avkopplande men nära till allt. Trevlig personal , sköna sängar och väldigt bra frukost. Kom tillbaka efter tre år och fortfarande lika nöjd.
