Loved it and would highly recommend! Will go again when we visit next year

The location is excellent and it’s a beautiful and clean hotel. There are quite a few stairs before the lift though, so if you can’t walk up a flight of stairs, it probably won’t be a good fit for you.

The only complaint was the coffee machine in the breakfast area. Multiple types of coffee, espresso, cappuccino had a horrible aftertaste and should probably be demineralized or replaced.

A great find!!

A lovely little hotel - great location a short walk from the tram and near very authentic places to eat. Friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable room which was clean and spacious. Excellent breakfast 👌 thank you!

Staff were excellent in all areas. Great location only ten minute walk to train station and close to all other important places of interest and restaurants.

Good Stay

The hotel was comfy and clean. Good WiFi and had smart tv. The Breakfast was decent with scrambled eggs and bacon on offer as well has continental. We had a room that looked over the quieter side street which had very little to no noise. Great location for both transport, shops, restaurants and sight seeing.

The actual shower cubicle was so small it was hard to lift your arms up to wash yourself. I soaped up outside the cubicle and rinsed off inside. I am an average sized person not big or small.

Fantastic location in walking distance to the major attractions. The room was nice and clean. The staff were nice and friendly.

The pillow options were a brick or a brick. An option of a softer pillow would have been great. The hallways and stairways can be a bit of a maze. If you like a challenge in the middle of the night when you want to get some chilled water then this is the place for you! I’m not marking the property down for this because we didn’t really find it an issue, but it’s unusual not to have water available in the room. And without mentioning names my partner had a ‘man look’ for the water and came back empty handed.

It is ok, but mostly for young people travelling light

The breakfast was good. They provide free filtered water, a perk hard to find in Europe.

I did not realize there were so many steps in the hotel and don't recommend if you have full size luggage. It was buried in the Q & A that there are steps without elevators. There was no AC in the bathroom, so it was very hot and the bathroom exhaust fan could not be turned off, so the door had to be shut all night making it warmer. The room was very plain in decoration.

Great stay.

The hotel is in an excellent location near the train station. Only a 10 minute walk from the train to the hotel. They also provide a continental breakfast, which was excellent. The hotel manager was fluent in Italian, English, and French. Everyone was nice. And the hotel room was very clean.

A short stay in Florence

Each staff member we encountered was most pleasant and very helpful weather with checkin, checkout, or asking for suggestions, directions or assistance. Breakfast was excellent and was a welcomed addition to our stay

Rooms are functional, comfortable ^ clean vur are a bit sparse/olain in decoration. ambitious and problem that affected our stay, just noticeable compared to other accommodations

Old fashioned lovely hotel

Gorgeous old hotel, great breakfast in a beautiful dining room, large spacious room and bathroom. Convenient to everything including the railway station once we got familiar with the way around the area. Great having 24/7 ability to refill water bottles with filtered water

Staff didn't speak English particularly well. Address on booking.com takes you to the back side of the hotel with giant closed doors and a buzzer which confused us and trying to find it using google maps was a disaster! Main entrance is actually on the very narrow Via Del Moro, number 15 straight opposite Garga restaurant. Our room was like a sauna in April and they weren't able to put on the air conditioner as not summer or winter but they brought us a fan for overnight. If we opened the window it was too noisy from bars and traffic and mossies came in.

Loved Florence, and this was a perfectly located base to see the city on foot.

Perfect location to explore the city, with all the main attractions and plenty of dining options within walking distance. 5 minute walk to the train station for onward travel. Breakfast was good, with plenty of choice. Our room wasn't the biggest, but it was clean, fresh and airy. Loved that the tea-making facilities in the room included larges mugs for a proper cup of tea.

Location. Close to Santa Maria Novella church Breakfast excellent and staff very friendly Room aircon worked well. Reception staff available and accessible Appreciated the lift as we are elderly Also appreciated the supply of chilled and filtered water. Rooms were quiet with good sound insulation

Very good

The location with respect to the city center is excellent. The breakfast buffet was great, with a good selection of what we’ve come to expect anywhere in Europe The staff was friendly and responded to our requests for an iron and to turn on the air conditioning in our room (more on that later!)

The entrances are not well-marked, and it took us several trips to be able to walk directly to the main entrance/reception office (which, incidentally, is NOT at the street address shown on the hotel information and Google Maps) Now, as for the air conditioning…our first night, the room was very warm (by our standards; we’re from Texas and like it pretty cool/cold in our room at night). We opened the window, but that meant inviting in a few curious mosquitoes and a LOT of street noise. The information page we received at check-in noted that the A/C was centrally controlled and that we shouldn’t/couldn’t adjust it. The next morning, we asked for the A/C in our room to be turned on and, when we returned from our outing that afternoon, the A/C was merrily humming away, the room was quite comfortable, and it remained that way for the remaining three nights of our stay!
