Location and staff were excellent.
Rooms are dated and in poor condition. Mould in the shower, broken handles. The walls are paper thin and we were kept up every night by the neighbouring rooms. Main floor entrance smelled like sewage.

its an old palace with unusual but very atractive interior with tiny staircases, each room nicely combines the medieval time with modern lifestyle, beautiful breakfast room with panoramatic view on Florence, wonderful location, nearby the city center
it was difficult to find the main gate, reception was located in the first floor and the main door was closed, it took us time to understand how we can get in, but this did not influence the postive impression from the hotel

Breakfast was one of the best hotel breakfasts I have ever had. Eva, the breakfast attendant, was magnificent and very responsive to our request. There was wide variety of food that was well prepared and fresh. The staff was unbelivably helpful and made every effort to make our stay a memorable one - which it was. The suite was WOW!! We were within easy walking distance of the train station and all of the attractions. I cannot imagine a more perfect location and service than what we received during out stay.
No complaints at all.

We loved the location, the staff, the breakfast was incredible, the room was amazing and very original. It was right on the river and really close to the railway station which meant we could just walk to catch our train. A really amazing place to stay- incredible infact. The communal areas were stunning. The staff were so accommodating with breakfast too- we had to leave before 8am which is when breakfast starts, so they set it up early for us.
The room was noisy- traffic and very noisy people did wake us up a few times.

Literally everything about this place was amazing. It’s an absolute gem! We were so happy that we stumbled across this hotel when booking. From the care and attentiveness of the staff, to the history of the hotel, to the beauty of the hotel and rooms! Seriously, an amazing stay!
There was genuinely nothing to dislike. An absolute perfect stay!

Very slow lift! Not really a big issue but that’s all I can think of really

Fantastic location within walking distance to all major attractions in Florence. The space is generously sized and beautifully artistic, creating a unique and inspiring atmosphere
Not suitable for toddlers — the space has many fragile items, open staircases, and glass features, making it potentially unsafe for young children.
The arrival process was confusing, as staff didn’t clearly indicate which entrance to use, so we ended up circling the property twice.
Additionally, the air conditioning unit was quite small and struggled to cool the entire room

This property is absolutely stunning. The location is an easy 10-15 minute walking distance from many of the major historical landmarks in the city. The element that really set this place apart for me was not only the gorgeous property and spacious room, but the customer service. Believe me when I say that this staff goes above and beyond to make sure you have a wonderful stay. If I ever visit Florence again I wouldn’t stay anywhere else.

We recently had the privilege of staying at this exceptional hotel during our honeymoon, and I can confidently say it exceeded every expectation we had. The hotel is beautifully located in a historic building with elegant architecture that created the perfect romantic atmosphere.
The service was outstanding from start to finish. Andrea at the front desk was incredibly helpful during check-in, providing excellent local recommendations and even calling to check on us when our train was delayed. The front desk lady (whose name I regret not asking for) during checkout was equally thoughtful, asking if we needed extra time to rest after checking out. From the moment we made our reservation to our final farewell, every aspect of our experience was nothing short of extraordinary. The breakfast service was consistently excellent, thanks to the warm and professional staff member who managed this area. Her daily smile and enthusiastic greetings created a welcoming start to each day. What particularly impressed us was her attention to detail - by our second morning, she had already remembered my preference for iced American coffee. This level of personal service made us feel truly valued.
The hotel surprised us with complimentary wine and congratulations for our honeymoon, which was a lovely touch. Our room was absolutely perfect - beautifully appointed, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable.
I've never experienced such personalized, caring service at any hotel. The staff genuinely made us feel at home while ensuring every detail was perfect. We will definitely return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for exceptional hospitality.

Location is great although at a traffic intersection so sometimes noisy. I loved the breakfast room and loung area. Beautifully restored rooms. Staff is very pleasant and accommodating.
The address is not what shows up on Google so you have to call them to find the front door. It was difficult to get a sense of the overall space as only one of 3-4 floors is dedicated to the hotel. The elevator is VERY slow and stairs are steep and long. The guestroom decor was odd....some old furniture mixed with new but not in a consistent manner. The "loft" style interiors were hard to navigate. Lighting was difficult to manage and understand which switch pertained to which room/light fixture.

Not my first visit; each time wonderful. The place is magnificent and luxurious as well as being well positioned. The facilities are superb and the staff are unfailingly attentive, efficient and welcoming. I look forward to my next visit.

This place truly stands out with its exceptional service, clean and comfortable rooms, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Whether you’re traveling for business or leisure, the staff goes above and beyond to ensure a relaxing and enjoyable stay. The location is also perfect — close to key attractions yet quiet enough for a peaceful night’s rest.
A few things could definitely be improved. There was no assistance with luggage upon arrival, which was inconvenient. Also, basic amenities like a toothbrush were missing. The in-room TV didn’t allow app downloads or support AirPlay, which limited entertainment options. A few upgrades in service and technology would really enhance the guest experience.

I loved the breakfast buffet - the variety of sweets and proteins was excellent. I especially loved having the ability to make fresh fruit smoothies. The service there was superb and the breakfast area and lounge with the relaxing music in the background was lovely. The hotel's location on the river and near the St. Regis ballroom where I was doing a dance competition was top notch. The rooms were a nice combination of modern aesthetics mixed with a nod to the historic charm of the building and its architecture. We loved the unique design of each of our rooms!
The only improvement I could suggest, specific to my situation, would be to have brighter lighting in bathroom area. (Since I had to do performance makeup, I set up my makeup area on the desk near the window.) At the end of the day, it was completely fine, and really everything was wonderful.

Both rooms we reserved were amazing. Beautiful and so much room. The staff was very pleasant and the breakfast was great. I couldn't imagine that anyone would be disappointed when opening the door to their room! The view of the River is one of the best in the city. Really fun to have the Palace experience in Florence.

The very warm welcome of the staff, they were very helpful. Special thanks to Mr. Andrea for little tour info.the place was very nice.
The only disadvantage that the suite had is that the AC was not enough gor the suite and it was too hot inside:(

the facility was so unique, being an old home. The room has so much space, it was wonderful! we had an upstairs and a downstairs space, which was great at the end of a long day of touring. The bed and pillows were comfortable, as well as the couches. We loved the breakfast that was included with our room. They had scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, meats, cheeses, fruit, fresh bread, crescents, sweet breads and more. such a great variety! We would stay there again if we came back to Florence!

this was a really special location right on the river. And just a little out of the intense fray of the very center of the city.

A perfect getaway for people who don't need to see or be seen. There is no lobby bar, no newsstand, flower shop or a gym, but there are big well appointed spotless rooms with highest ceiling I ever saw in a hotel, a quiet salon with an "honesty bar" and a view on the Arno, and plenty of good restaurants around. Breakfast, served by a friendly and helpful waitress, is plentiful, check in and check out are smooth considering that there are only few rooms in this grand XV century's palazzo. I have reservations about Florence, but definitely none about Leone Blu.

The best part about staying at Leone Blu Suites is that you may get the chance to meet Anastasia. She checked us in and spent an enormous amount of time giving us a history lesson about Florence, the beautiful building we'd be staying in, and where to go and what to do. She and the team around her treated us very well throughout our stay.
The decoration in our room was a bit funky. I'd prefer a more traditional decoration given the building's history. Also, there's an incredible space on the first floor that is unused. This could be converted into a lounge or an art space.

The location was perfect - right on the Arno, with easy walk to restaurants, shops, and museums.
My husband and I traveled with our 30 year old son. We had one large room with a loft. The bathtub/shower area was not closed off, and so not private. The loft was warm and because of the open space, sound traveled easily. For the price, it was not functional for us.
