The view was spectacular and the pool

We booked this in particular because we wanted self catering and a pool. It is a case of you get what you pay for. The photos are accurate so we knew to expect pretty basic. The pool was lovely, unfortunately 4 out of the 8 sun loungers were broken. Most times we went it was only us or a couple of others so was ok. Take plastic cups for at the pool as no glass allowed but no plastic ones provided The views from the balcony were lovely to sit out and relax watching the boats come & go. I found the beds comfortable & it was a nice base to explore. It was about €10 in an uber to the old town.

The bathroom was like in the photos, a shower curtain that sticks to you and the shower didn’t fit the attachment so you had to hold it and it had very sharp water flow. Showering was hard work and really not relaxing at all! Parking was an absolute nightmare! It on the road that is very tight going up & down. If you arrive back after 14.00-15.00 no chance of getting close. In fact our rental car got towed away at one point. It is quite hilly and we wanted to explore the area so wanted a car. Some of the fittings were not quite to the standard you would expect. If it rains you have to close the shutters or water came in. The laminate in the room said if you are there more than 5 days they will service the apartment half way and if you wanted daily you could pay 10 euros. We thought once in the week was fine but no one came at all. There was enough cups/glasses etc but we had to clean them all before use

The property is in a quiet but central location in Dubrovnik. The property has a nice pool, lovely outdoors and it’s easy to get to the harbour and beach.

We had the lower ground 3 bed apartment so can only speak for that particular one. No air con, poor shower, dirty floor in bathroom and kitchen.
