The staff were very helpful and the food etc was very good.
There was also a really positive and relaxing feel about the hotel.
I would like to thank the manager for his continued help and support (Sorry forgot his name)

Very friendly and helpful staff! Made us feel welcome from the start.. our room was very clean with a very comfortable bed and lovely bath! We had a lovely member of staff show us to our room, which we thought was a nice thoughtful touch! Beautiful pub and nicely decorated, lovely selection of ciders and beers! Although we didn’t eat there, the choices on the food sounded amazing! Would definitely visit again :)
The only downside was the parking, but of course being in the city centre it’s not any fault on their part that they don’t have one! The staff were super helpful with recommending places to park, after a while searching for a space (also being market day was super busy) we found one not too far!

The fact that it was very old and just across from the Cathedral where we went to a concert.
Very disappointed with the accommodation,I thought we would stay in the actual Hotel other than the chalet type room that we had. This was sold to me as a superior room, this was not superior this was as special Birthday weekend so was really disappointed.The noise from the fan in the bathroom was dreadful ,so loud. Cracked toilet cistern,cracked floor tiles.Settee to sit on but no table to put a drink on.
