Thought it was great - will stay again if/when in the area

Breakfast was really nice, with enough choice. Stayed in the hotel for evening meals, which were also lovely. Main meals were great value and plenty of choice. Room was a good size, with a desk and look really quite newly refurbished. Everything was really how you would expect.

Breakfast could have been quicker (stay was for work, not leisure, so getting out quickly can be important). Starters and desserts are a little pricey in comparison to the great value main meals

Easy location to find, good parking in view of the hotel, nice rooms, quality shower. Full breakfast a real winner, evening meal surprisingly good for a in house hotel scoff.

Enjoyable stay with excellent food.

Location was very good whilst undertaking the NC500. Lounge and dining/breakfast room were very clean and spacious. The evening meal and breakfast were very good with plenty of choice. Would stay here again.

Great evening meal menu, delicious food, friendly service. Breakfast was fantastic.

Very old fashioned . Like stepping back in time to the 1950's . My shower room was like a grotty communal area in the public swimming pool . The staff looked scruffy. I didn't get showed to my room .. just had to guess where to go . The breakfast was awful . We paid for an Evening meal which was nice .

Fabulous hotel for a traveling couple.

The hotel’s location was good, it’s clean and well maintained, the breakfast was good with plenty of food options.

A member of the catering staff hovered over me when I was standing at the table to toast my bread. I knew what I was doing and watching over the toaster but she repeatedly stuck her nose into my business. It was so annoying that I eventually told her to stop @fussing over me” and I knew what I was doing. It left an unpleasant feeling that was a spoiler for my breakfast! Other than that the staff were friendly and helpful.

Very modern, comfortable and clean. Great shower temperature and pressure. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. They squeezed us in for dinner with no reservation even though it was very busy. Quality of food was excellent at a reasonable price. Parking was plentiful.

Its location is convenient for the Caithness show in both Thurso and Wick. Staff are attentive and happy - service with a smile. It is always spotless. Food is exceptional. Tunnocks Caramel Wafers!

The staff is EXCEPTIONAL

The staff was EXCEPTIONAL. After two long days of travel & so excited about finally being at our destination, I left my purse on the train. At the hotel everyone jumped into action to help me get it back! (It was delivered to the hotel by the conductor himself.) I really cannot thank the staff enough for saving our holiday. Also, the room was spotless and cozy.

Disappointing in several respects.

Breakfast was good and freshly cooked but was not included in price. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Heating in room did not come on until late evening. Room was very basic (eg no fridge). Bathroom was antiquated and shower difficult to control. Wet floor very slippy, resulting in a bad fall.
