Astra Vevey Hotel & Restaurant

Excellent Location: Incredibly convenient—right outside the train station and just a few minutes' walk from the Lake Geneva promenade. Restaurants, grocery stores, pharmacies, and a shopping mall are all nearby. Good Noise Isolation: Despite being so close to the station, the room was mostly quiet, and you can barely hear the trains. Space: The room was a very comfortable size.

Room Condition & Ventilation: The room feels a bit dated, and the weak shower ventilation leaves the space humid for a long time afterward. Odd Layout & Noise: The hotel layout is a bit strange, with multiple rooms in our section facing a small shared common area in a circle. Room Assignment: As a light sleeper, I requested a room away from street and elevator noise. The staff took this a bit too literally and assigned me to a room directly facing the housekeeping storage room. I was woken up early every morning by the noise of the staff starting their day.

Perfect location, a stones throw from Vevey train station. Very close to shops, restaurants & the lake.

The cleaners let themselves in to my room without knocking twice! One I was undressed and the next time I was trying to sleep!

Well located, close to the lake. And although the hotel is in the city center there is an underground garage. The room was comfortable with a good mattress and all the necessary equipment (bathrobes and sleepers included).

There was a regular noise during the night, coming from the other side of the bathroom, so I was not able to sleep during a part of the night. I have informed the reception when we checked out.
