Great location, very comfortable bed!

The are around the sink in the bathroom to place cosmetics etc was very small (we had a superior room), that was the only thing I didn’t necessarily like.

Very disappointing

- stained carpet - dirty shower - s. pictures -grease running down from the toilet flushing system - the glass shower door made some concerning noises like breaking any time.

Even though the bar was still open and it was obviously not busy at all, it seemed like we were disturbing the one bar staff. That’s rude! also the 2 gentlemen after us were treated the same and didn’t feel welcomed at your bar at all as well. We were both in house guests, guests should not be treated that way anywhere. Check in staff didn’t seem to care at all, no friendly greeting, she was barely telling us about the facilities. The night Audit didn’t seemed to be bothered at all, we simply had 2 questions. You need to train your staff on politeness and etiquette! That is very very sad.

Location and once I got the room I paid for.

They downgraded my room when I checked in and moved my room around 1.30 am. No help.

Luckily, we had only booked for one night.

Unfortunately, the bathroom was unusable – shower water spread across the entire floor, and the sink faucet was so poorly positioned that washing your hands was simply impossible. The room itself had the musty charm of a forgotten storage closet.

Elegant hotel, comfortable rooms, central location

I enjoyed the elegant and quiet ambience of the hotel. It gives a feeling of serenity and calm especially as you walk into the foye from a bustling street outside. The room was spacious and with all the expected amenities.

I stayed three times and had several encounters with 4 different staff at the reception and every encounter was different - from very pleasant to quite disappointing or even rather discouraging. Rooms facing the street are not soundproof and at times it can be a challenge to fall asleep especially on weekends.

I don’t want to come back to this hotel..

I really liked the historical building:)

The first room what I did get was full of cigarettes smoke- was really bed experience.. so I asked for another room, but was the same terrible smell.. I did get offer to change room ones again.. but I decided to leave opened windows till late night, that to get out of that terrible smell.. another thing what I did like was my bathroom towels- some of them had a hole in it :) I asked to change it, but unfortunately the staff didn’t “hear” me.. :) I miss the cleanliness in that room..

Serviceable hotel near bus stops, restaurants and cafes.

The room was large and comfortable. The hotel bar was nice and convenient. Location was close to two bus stops. Restaurants and cafes were within easy walking distance.

The hotel staff do not maintain a presence near the reception area. It was quite common to wait for someone to show. Smokers congregated right outside the front entrance (including the receptionist) which made it difficult to get to the main entrance.

Comfy updated historic hotel in Wiesbaden

Nice historical property with updated rooms. Comfy beds, clean rooms. Helpful staff. Great breakfast options including custom eggs. Close to Kurpark, Casino, and Stadttheater. Old Town about 10 min walk. There’s a direct bus line from Wiesbaden Central Station. Restaurants and shops begin outside the door. They offer guaranteed early check-in for small fee. This is my 2nd stay and will return.

Amazing staff and hotel

I stayed here with my mother for 3 nights and had an incredible experience. The hotel is lovely, well maintained, comfortable and quiet. It's very centrally located. The absolute best thing about our stay was the staff - before and during our trip, they went above and beyond to help us with whatever we needed and were so friendly and kind. I'm so grateful to them! Highly recommended staying at the Radisson Schwarzer Bock hotel if you're in Wiesbaden.

It's a very minor observation: I had to unplug a lamp or fridge to plug in the coffee machine, which isn't convenient. I would also recommend having some milk available alongside the tea and coffee in the room.

Decorations are a mixture of early 20th Century style and modern style which doesn’t work in some cases, making for a bit of a cheap look. Carpets in the hallways should be replaced.

The balcony had one chair no table. So the price for this balcony is something I will not do again. Came to my room later the second day to find a messy room and the cleaning staff was using my bathroom for his personal business.

Slow service at the check in/check out desk. And we had to ask for towels and the soap and coffee wasn’t replenished. We stayed 4 nights!
