Lovely place for a peaceful break

The staff were absolutely amazing, great ideas on what to see and where to go (given that it is November). The view of the Rhine is spectacular. The film festival at the palace was very close by, as were several restaurants. We enjoyed going for a run along the river.

Nothing to improve… except maybe the juice machine: Apple juice dispenses Orange juice and vice versa 😅

Not something you would expect from a 3 star hotel in Germany

Location

Dirty room + spider webs. Some broken light bulbs. No warning from staff that water should not be used for drinking or cleaning the teeth due to possibility of bacteria.

Steep stair paradise

Just across from bus stations and river. Remodeled bathroom

Older facility somewhat deferred maintenance. I have stayed at several older hotels and this one didn't do it for me. It wasn't very well kept up,walls were all cuffed courtyard dirty and neglected. It was a long time that someone cared. Breakfast was ok,it took them a long time to replenishing the buffet. For us older folksy travelers; no elevators or help with your luggage on steep stairs. Someone took some very good pictures.

Fresh rooms!

Nice area near water and the castle park, very nice when you have a dog! The beds were really comfortable!

We got a room faced towards the street, so a bit noisy if you want the window open at night.

Clean room.dirty halls and terraces atmosphereof neglect

Proximity to my event. Maya- who was gracious and helpful. The room was clean

The plexiglass from Covid 19 days still up - the hotel at 125 euro a night looked like a hostel The stairwells. The outside terraces dirty. Neglected. With ashtrays brimming with cigarette butts. The hot water in shower not that hot. Towel rack just broke off the wall. Something else fell suddenly when I was in shower- have no idea what it was Breakfast very mediocre.

Disappointing stay due to improper heating system

The location was great as well the view from the room.

The heating system was not working. The room and bathroom were cold. No one at the reception could help us or find a solution. The hotel Manager was not available. We where told it would be fixed the next day but too late for us.

Great value for money

The hotel is across the road from the River Rhein and the palace with its beautiful park is just around the corner. The room with a tiled floor and a small terrace was small but very clean. Apparently, the hotel had been 'done up' just three or four years ago. The breakfast was excellent.

A nice stay for one or two nights to explore Wiesbaden, however a bit on the pricey side.

The staff was very accommodating and the location perfect along the Rhine River. The hotel was very clean.

The room and bathroom were very small, however very quaint being an older hotel.

Small but nice room with good bathroom. Great view of the Rhein and passing ships with a balcony to sip coffee or wine or have a snack. Cleaning staff was very helpful in getting the balcony in shape to use. Breakfast was adequate but costly.

The traffic noise and fumes were simply absurd and detracted so much from the view and appeal of the balcony and any kind of restful enjoyment of the room. Parking, which appeared difficult at first glance, could be found in the local neighborhood and bags dropped off and picked up across the street (dodging traffic). the $10 a day hotel parking was almost useless except for small agile cars and accessed off a narrow one way alley which could be blocked at times. The stairs were not up to modern codes - too narrow steps - one had to watch one's footing, especially going down.

Honestlt, horrible - for family stay that we were looking forward to and waking up to a river view. forward to forward

The rooms were not what I booked. These were in the back building with no view, as stated on the description. The service was absolutely poor! I would like Booking.com to contact me for ensuring a refund on some of bad quality and wrongful descriptions. Very little which was shown on the list if available were available. e.g. pillows, size of bed, view, hairdryer, lights missing, dirty cups, etc. And I ended up having to pay the full rate at the counter since the guy on duty did mot know what to do. I was even informed that it was available and the night duty person had not seen to it.

Lake front access

Breakfast was substandard - all the items that were supposed to be hot were cold especially the coffee from the machine! One of the most appealing things about this place was the sauna, which we were told would open at 7 am. However, it didn't open until 10 so we couldn't use it as we had to depart at 8:30. The restaurant was overpriced for the type of food. There is no AC so the room was hot. Staff was not friendly. The services were limited - food wasn't served after 9:00 and again the sauna hours... This is not a good hotel for savvy, international travelers!

No chair for desk work; no waste bin; no cloths hangers; no cup/glass in bathroom; bedside lamp would have been nice, so would a fan this hot weather & perhaps a bottle of water. Disappointing. However breakfast was good and plenty of restaurants near by.
