Great hotel and management

Large, clean, comfortable rooms. Nice garden to relax or to have breakfast/dinner. Very quiet location.

No A/C (we knew this, as no A/C is listed. This is quite common in Europe… ). But the owners supplied us with 2 quiet ventilators. The problem is that due to the vicinity of a river, the whole area is quite humid. Also because of the water, there are many mosquitoes. Bring a repeller. These things are not a fault of the hotel, I’m just providing info.

Very friendly staff, superb breakfast, very comfortable beds, nice garden, very clean, proper fridge in the room, little private outdoor patio where we had breakfast, quiet, parking. All in all a very pleasant experience.

Wonderful Boutique Hotel.

The hotel is in a great location close to Ascona and surrounded with the most beautiful garden with fruits and flowers in abundance. Giuseppe and his wife welcomed us warmly with a cold beer and a little apéro after our long journey. The room was spotlessly clean and a beautiful view on the mountains. What is also outstanding is the largest breakfast selection i think i have seen, other than a 5* Hotel. Nothing was too much trouble and it was service with a smile and brilliant attention to detail. In short, lovely people and a lovely hotel.

The stay begins with a smile!

Arriving at the hotel is almost like coming home. You don't believe it? The warm welcome by Rita and Guiseppe give you the feeling of being with a family, not in an anonymous hotel: an owner-run family business. The hosts are very friendly and attentive. They welcomed us with a cup of espresso and delicious lemon cake! Before you have expressed a wish, they already read it from your eyes. The smile and charm are contagious! The breakfast buffet with fresh food from the region is very rich (highly recommended is the cheese, salumi and of course lardo... but also vegans will get their money's worth). Breakfast is taken on the private terrace, the way to the buffet is very short and coffee is brought. In the evening it is worth a look in the minibar! The garden is beautiful and very well kept. The hotel is located in a quiet residential area, only two minutes walk from the picturesque river, where you can go swimming nicely. To Ascona or Locarno it is a stone's throw from there, the wonderful Maggia valley invites you to long walks. Towards Onsernone it is also very interesting. Be sure to ask if they can recommend a restaurant or grotto - you won't regret it! Parking is in front of the house, the way to the train station is short - it has amazingly frequent connections. We will certainly come again, only this time we will stay longer. A heartfelt thanks to the warm and exemplary hosts!

I loved the location and the beautiful property, and the staff were really nice. The room was spacious and it was so nice having a private terrace.

The room was not that clean, it had lots of dust bunnies and some items leftover from the previous guest. The outdoor furniture could use a bit of love.

The room was fine There was a so called beach nearby. Good for a walk but the water is not that clear for a swim. Not sure if it gets better when it is warmer.

Werden wenn ja, nur 2-3 Tage wieder gehen.

Das Frühstück war sehr gut! Schade, dass der Raum zu wenig Tageslicht hat! Laut den Fotos möchte man meinen ,dass der Frühstücksraum oben im Rundzimmer des Hauses ist,dem ist nicht so,weil das Privat ist. Schade!

Die Badezimmer sind in die Jahre gekommen und sehr Klein.

Angenehmer und in sehr guter Erinnerung bleibender Urlaub. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Die Möglichkeit, das Frühstück auf der eigenen Terrasse einzunehmen, war sehr schön. Das Hotel ist ruhig gelegen und die Maggia ist zu Fuss bequem zu erreichen wie auch der Bahnhof. Ein Abstecher nach Locarno oder Ascona ist so jederzeit auch ohne Auto möglich. Der Fahrradverleih im Hotel ermöglicht Ausfahrten in die Umgebung oder auf dem Fahrradweg an den Lago Maggiore. Cristina und ihre Mutter sind sehr nette, aufmerksame und äusserst freundliche Gastgeberinnen.

Eine Wohlfühloase, wo man immer wieder gerne hinlommt

Hübsches Hotel mit einem wunderschönen Gsrten (parkähnlich). Das Frühstück bot eine wunderbare Auswahl an Käse, Aufschnitt, Broten und vielen Früchten, alles sehr schön hergerichtet. Der Cappuccino war ein Gedicht. Wir wurden von der Besitzerfamilie sehr umsorgt.

Een aanrader

We hebben 2 nachten doorgebracht in dit hotel. Het was erg goed. De rustige ligging in het groen, een grappig strand op 100 meter en vooral de hele lieve en attente familie die er werkelijk alles aan doet om het naar de zin te maken. Een hartelijke ontvangst, goede tips, een erg goed ontbijt (op je eigen terras) en het gratis gebruik van fietsen om snel en veilig naar Ascona of Logarno te komen. Dit hotel is dus een aanrader dus!!
