Great location near to bus and metro stop, very clean and the price.
The shower and bed weren’t comfortable but okay for the price

The private room with toilet & shower was great for the price in Paris. Close to a metro stop, many shops around. Modern bathroom.
No hair dryer even if mentioned, floors not vacuumed, mirror haven’t been cleaned from past guests, shower holder is broken off, bedsheets with a whole & stains.

Super clean and easy to find.
The stairs need a bit of update.

The room was very basic but clean, and the heating was good. There was a shower and sink in the room. There were many restaurants, cafes and supermarkets in the area. Close to the centre of Paris.
It would have been nice to have a duvet cover over the blanket, some wall hooks to hang a coat and a kettle for tea/coffee.

Located in an interesting part of Paris with plenty of local cafes, restaurants and bars and close to many public transport options. I highly recommend Le Leopard cafe/bar just a block or so away. Super friendly staff and great burgers (and other food).
The bed, although it is very basic, was actually very comfortable. I slept well.
The toilet and shower were tiny and frustrating to use. The toilet was literally in a closet and the shower was just wider than my shoulders and had a tap (flick mixer) that protruded 1/4 of the way into the shower so when you turn around you'd bump into it changing the temperature or shutting it off. There was no shelf, so everything had to be put on the floor which meant constantly squatting down (not enough room to bend over) to pick things up and often would crash into the tap when standing back up. I ended up putting the (plastic) chair out side the shower curtain and used that as a shelf. Definitely for smaller people. There were some communal showers/toilets in the halls, so that is also an option if you struggle too much.
The fridge in my room didn't work. There is no fan or air-conditioning, so it can get quite hot.
I don't think the pictures on the website properly represent the rooms. (Not mine at least).
It is a budget hotel, so I kept that in mind but I would probably pay more to stay somewhere more comfortable.

Location, close to the metro, easy to get to the main attractions.

Staff were very nice, location was amazing, we got a free room upgrade (shower and toilet were in the room instead of in the hallway) and everything looked really clean.
The whole place was a little old, especially the stairways had seen better days, to put it mildly.
Although we were very thankful and happy about the room upgrade, the toilet was in a tiny chamber and you can’t close the door while using it. If i had payed for it, I wouldn’t have been satisfied.

loved having a fridge and microwave in room
toilet room in room was too small, also other people banging doors was a pain
5.0 / 10.0
The whole process at the hotel was very much hassle free. I needed to change my room because of noise issues and heat at one point, which was made possible by the staff.
There was a kettle and a microwave in my room, but no cups or dishes. The bathroom was not super clean when I arrived and the walls are extremely thin, so I heard people in the other rooms snore at night.

Location is good near by a Metro station as described also bus stop and many places to eat
The bathroom did not have space you would need to leave the door open to use it

The staff receptionist, Ismael, was welcoming and friendly.
We travelled as a couple with our teen twins (a boy and a girl) and booked two rooms. In the reservation, we clearly stated that it was for two teenagers and requested one room with a double bed for us (the parents) and another room with twin beds for the teens. However, sometime after the booking, we received an update stating that both rooms had double beds, and the settings showed that one adult and one child would be in each room. We never imagined the booking would be interpreted that way—splitting the parents up during a family vacation and having each one sleep with a teen is frankly ridiculous.
We sent a message in advance asking to make sure the teens would get a room with two single beds, but we never received a response. When we arrived, we found that both rooms had double beds. While the front desk staff—Ismael, we believe—was very friendly, he couldn't solve the issue as he wasn’t the manager, and the manager wasn’t available. This caused quite a bit of inconvenience at check-in, and the only solution offered was to pay for an additional room so the teens could be separated.

The staff was nice
It was overbooked at the moment of the check in and they took us to hotel Anya instead= mattress was dirty, bathroom narrow and dirty, bedroom super small, 6th floor without elevator in narrow stairs, receptionist tried to double charge, no view from the window, no hairdryer, horrible. Be mindful when you book at hotel Richard because you might end up in Anya and you will hate it

Pleasant hotel in a pleasant and convenient neighbourhood, clean room and facilities, great location

Friendly staff, good location, many restaurants near the hotel.
A bit of old walls, no hair dryer and poor sink

All members of the staff were very friendly and ready to help. Moreover, they all knew English quite well. The hotel has 3 slots on the private parking. And a private parking in Paris is the real treasure.
For its money, the hotel/hostel is quite good. It is located next to several subways, and Per Lashes is in 10 minutes walking. The street is quiet. The district is full of restaurants, cafés and bakeries to never look at the croissants for a long time. And it is cheaper than in the very center. Overall, the location itself is worthing some inconvenience. For a couple of days, it is a solid budget variant in Paris.
Parking cost more than was written on Booking. The facilities are old, and that needs to be considered (no elevators, old building). Rooms are quite small, not fancy at all, and I do mean it. But you would probably never spend much time there anyway.

Cheap and clean
They stairs got all wet when it rained. This made it dangerous to walk on them. Also, the stairs seemed to be a bit deteriorated.

Great location, a couple of minutes walk from the metro. The room was basic but fine. It had a fridge, kettle and microwave, which was a bonus.
The stairs are a bit rickety so bear that in mind if you are carrying luggage.

The only "value for money" thing was the location. Great location in a super manageable and lively neighborhood.
Except for the clean sheets on the bed, everything else was quite bad. There were hair (of all kind) from the previous guest all over the place, on the floor in the shower, in the sink. Too bad that a room so tiny can't be at least clean.

everything else fifty stairs cases which where broken no lift

The man on reception was friendly and helpful.
Couldn't open window or even the shutter because we were literally right on the street (ground floor). Noisy at night. 90 euros for a tiny room where you can't open window is too expensive, even for Paris.

Wi-Fi was too bad! Room too small for money. No lift and old stairs.

The location is quite central, very close to the bastille and in an area that looks very alive. It is very well connected with main metro lines and it has a mcdonalds in the corner for late dinner just in case. We found supermarkets, coffes and bars nice and near. The guy of the check in was very helpfull, the other not so much.
The bathroom inside the room is divided between wc with a door, shower box with a curtain and the sink is in the space next to the bed. I mean, I get it's the french style but you couldn't close the door of the WC because not even a kid can fit in that cabin. HORRIBLE!!!! The rest was everything good, ah also the wifi doesn't work quite good either.
