Door doesn't lock...
The hotel room is equipped with everything essential - toiletry, towels, hangers, kettle, mugs, fan, hairdryer, heater, comfortable bed and pillows, proper linen. It is well located, close to the metro and sole bus lines. The staff is friendly and always present.
The hotel is very tired and not perfectly clean, the shower was tiny and the window is not well isolated - a lot of noise from the street. Some equipment is old, our hairdryer was held by duck tape... But the worst, and why I put such a low grade, is that the door's lock was broken, we couldn't lock the door from outside, so for 2 days we left our belongings unattended. The most valuable things we left at the reception but still it is quite disturbing. And the problem was not resolved one way or another - nor the lock was fixed, nor were we provided with another room. Pity, because otherwise I would say the hotel is good value for the price.

Someone got in to our room twice while we werent in the hotel and stole my money. I have proofs of that. They show me with the post net the time that they got in to the room to stole and even with the proof the hotel did nothing. We had the worst experience ever in a hotel. They had ruined our vacation.

This "hotel" is an absolute disgrace to Paris. A place where they break into your locked room, break the lock on your luggage, and rob you, and the staff just shrugs it off. If you want to feel safe, stay as far away from this place as possible.
On July 21, 2025, I left early in the morning (at 5:30 a.m.) for a day trip to Mont Saint-Michel. The room was properly locked with a chip card, and I left my personal belongings in the room, including a locked travel bag with 250 euros inside.
When I returned around 8:40 p.m., the door was still locked and undamaged, but the bag had been moved and the lock on it had been pried open. The money was gone. I immediately went to the reception desk, where, unfortunately, no one took the situation seriously. The receptionist first claimed that a cleaning lady had entered the room (even though there was a "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door), but then he changed his story and claimed that no one had been there. I then went to the police, where they told me to come back the next morning at 9:00 a.m. I arranged a meeting with the receptionist at 8:00 a.m., where his supervisor was also supposed to be present so that we could resolve everything. However, the next day, neither the receptionist nor his boss were there—the receptionist had apparently just left, and his supervisor was on vacation, so he couldn't be there. I felt like they were deliberately stringing me along.
After filing a report with the police, I returned to the hotel, but there was no further response or attempt to resolve the situation – no apology, no attempt to resolve anything, absolute silence. As if nothing had happened. Total indifference, no responsibility, zero empathy. As a guest, you are nothing more than a number on an accommodation card. Because of this experience – theft, loss of trust, total failure of the staff – I decided to end my entire stay and vacation in Paris four days early.

Good for a short stay
The location is without a doubt the biggest advantage. Just 50 meters away in a corner, there’s a cozy bistro/café with a beautiful view of the roundabout. The neighborhood is pleasant and in center. Our room was clean and equipped with air conditioning. The blackout curtains were of good quality, blocking out all sunlight. Check-in was also very quick.
This is a basic hotel, but if you're simply looking for a place to sleep and not spending time in the room, it does the job. Especially for the price, it's hard to find anything comparable in that neighborhood.
Our room was located on the street side, and just like other guests mentioned in their reviews, the noise was very noticeable. Every three minutes, you could hear a siren passing by — extremely annoying. The bed was also very small, even by hotel standards. It felt like sleeping on a 140 cm bed, which was really uncomfortable.

Dirty, dusty beds, I got bug bites as soon as I entered the room. Pictures don’t match the real rooms. Extremely small, no curtain in each bed to have some sort of privacy, no AC during summer, location is terrible filled with suspicious vendors and drug dealers outside, not safe at all. bathrooms are the tiniest I’ve ever seen for hostels with that price. I checked out 5 minutes after I saw the room they gave me. Again: Pictures don’t match reality. i can’t believe booking.com offers this place

The toilet was so small possibly the smallest toilet I have seen. The shower area was so small with shower curtains so it sticks on ur body while taking a shower so not the best feeling in the world. If u changed that to class or hard surface it would be better.

All the staff we encountered were very nice and did their jobs effciently.
It would be nice to have a coat hook in the room. I was also not a huge fan of the pillows, but could be my personal preference! There is also no air con, so can get quite hot at night depending on the weather- although opening the window did the trick.

Excellent value for money
Excellent value for money. A great location surrounded by everything you need and a Metro stop literally right outside.
My room was on the top floor and had a small balcony with great views which was a lovely surprise. Although the room was very small it had everything I needed, including tea and coffee to last the trip. The bathroom was clean and well equipped with a decent shower and the bed was nice and comfortable. The room exceeded my expectations. Again, the room was very
small but excellent for this price.
Staff were very friendly and the desk was always manned. Check in/out very quick and easy. Perfectly happy with my stay.
My only complaint is that the doors were very noisy so I was awoken in the night quite a lot by neighbours doors banging, although this may be less of an issue if you have considerate neighbours.
Also be aware this hotel has a tiny one-person lift and a tight spiral staircase. Not an issue for me but may be to some people.

The place is nicer and more pleasant than what the picture shows on booking. it has white bed sheets. very clean. convenient location and nice neighborhood. close to Pere Lachaise as well.
There was some small each morning in the bathroom maybe due to old plumbing. Not hurting anything. it is easy to leave the window open.

Location is top! Metro #9 just 2 steps from the door, shops, pharmacy, ... Beds comfortable, room cleaned every day, inner-yard view rooms perfect for nice breeze and quiet long night and morning sleep. We loved the place, we would come back again.
2 Double-bed room is a bit small for 4 but we stayed for 4 nights and it was ok. Maybe some additional storage area would be great. Breakfast had no fruit or meat, salamy.

Staff were polite and nice and 24/7 reception - No issues at all.

it was a very convenient location, the beds were very comfortable.
The bathroom was tiny and unfortunately the rooms are not soundproof. other guests were very loud and didn’t seem to care of there were guests next door. Also the stairs was very narrow and due to claustrophobia none of us were keen to use the lift. Linen bags were left around on the stairs too.
