Lovely place in a great location. 3 or 4 different metro lines within 12 min walk. Rooms were spotlessly clean. Bathrooms a little on the small side but has everything you need.

Bad vibes, receptionist was rude, clearners are very loud and noisy in the corridor, also noise from the street.

It is not the first time we stay at this hotel but it is the first time we are not satisfied: the mattress was extremely soft and saggy, the pillow very hard, the shower was tiny, the shower gel dispenser provided only one drop of shower gel every time you pushed... We were at the ground floor and had view at the street so could not properly open the windows. Worst thing: we had booked for two persons but the reception at the beginning insisted that we had booked only for one.

Hotel du Chemin Vert is a good accommodation to visit Paris. It is nearby several metrostations and Cimetière du Père-Lachaise. In the street are several shops where you can do your small shopping and (streetfood) restaurants. The room in the hotel was fine with a reasonably good bed and nice clean bathroom. The breakfast was simple and good with fresh coffee, tea, croissants and rolls. The staff was friendly and helpful. It was also very nice that we could leave our luggage in the hotel after check-out until our train left.

Hotel was ok, the bathrooms were recently renovated and was very nice (shower was great) and new aircon in the rooms was very welcome. Decor was a bit shabby. Didn't have breakfast so can't comment and the room was small, but to be expected for a central Paris hotel. Overall, ok value for the price paid and would stay here again.

The hotel room itself is very small but it was alright cause we only stayed for 2 nights. The hotel is very close to restaurants and I mean many restaurants. Its a quiet area, walking distance to metro and cafes. Many locals in the area which was nice and very safe area.

Perfect for the purpose of our trip, just needed a clean comfortable room to stay in at night when not exploring throughout the day. It was what I expected for the 3 stars and price. All I needed was a clean room to sleep in and a clean bathroom. The bathroom was tiny, but seemed recently renovated and pleasant. The room was pleasant. All was good and basic.

The front desk staff were very friendly, helpful, and spoke English. We were initially assigned a room that had not yet been cleaned, and this was resolved immediately which we appreciated. The rooms are very small, which we expect in most European hotels, but the bathroom was almost unmanageable. There was no outlet, no counter space, and very little room between the toilet and the sink. As we had come for an event, I found it very difficult to get ready with hair and makeup in this bathroom. The room itself was clean, but the carpet seemed dingy. The air conditioning at the hotel is centrally controlled which I think is important to know before - I like my room freezing and always ensure that the rooms I book have A/C. This air could not be changed in the room and it was too warm for us. Had I known this, I would have booked a different hotel. The surrounding neighborhood was quiet and seemed residential and safe. We walked back to the hotel late at night with no issue. It is not close to the main tourist attractions in Paris, but was about a half hour walk to the Arena (which we had come for). All in all, this was fine for one night but I would not have wanted to stay there for a vacation.

This is nice, but simple, hotel in a relaxed area near Pere Lachaise metro. Check-in was quick and easy and the room was comfortable. Unusual in a French hotel, there was a kettle and tea/coffee in the room. Everything worked (I didn't use the TV, so I don't know about that). The only thing that could be improved was that there was a door on the same floor as my room which squeaked very loudly, so the hinges could do with a little oil. This was a good hotel for the price. I would certainly recommend it.

About 10 min walk to the nearest metro station it’s local and conveniently located without the abusive prices you’d pay next door in Marais. No luxury but rooms are clean and beds reasonably comfortable

Hotel du Chemin Vert was OK. The rooms were small and the bathroom very small. I would not recommend this hotel for any person who was above average height or weight due to the size of the bathroom. The lift was very small, one person plus a suitcase. The stairs were quite narrow and you had to be careful at night as there was a delay in the automatic light coming on. The room was very clean, warm and the bed was comfortable. Our room faced Rue Chemin Vert and if you are a light sleeper the traffic noise would be problematic. The Hotel was about a 20 minute easy walk to Bastille and the surrounding areas were well appointed with public transport, shopping options and cafes. We did not use any of the hotel facilities and our only interaction with the reception staff was adequate.

Excellent location to an art exhibition but 10 minutes walk from the nearest Metro stop (Pete Lechaise). We found the room rather small but clean and comfortable. An English speaking tv channel other than CNN would have been nice!

Staying with my sister, staffs were nice and helpful. Room was okay size for 2 people, and bed was rather small. It was clean and quite near to the bus stop / a little bit further to the metro station.
