Wapa di Ume was nothing like we expected

Everything was so much better than we could have ever dream of! It's probably one of the nicest hotels I've stayed at. Everything wa so curated for the guests, the property was beautiful, in the middle of the jungle and 7 minutes by scooter from Ubud town. There was also a buggy car that can bring you to town 3 times a day. The staff was extremely attentive to details and kept checking on us. Totally recommend!

Amazing stay at Wapa

this place is amazing. the place truly is like a homely feeling. the staff are outstanding. there was nothing the staff were not prepared to do for you. the hotel is like a 5 star hotel. they offer amazing breakfast with home made bread and jam and so much variety to choose from. its truly a gem of a property and we loved it so much we stayed here twice during our stay in Bali. we will certainly visit again. The location is not far from the centre and you get a free shuttle or can book a cab for cheap on the Gojek App. Truly outstanding service and stay at Wapa De Ume.

Lovely quiet location - local families work the fields surrounding the property. Two pool options and hardly anyone in them when we were there.

The first night we were upgraded to a plunge pool room which was nice but no view. We ended up moving back the next day to our original room overlooking the rice fields. They sorted it all out easily enough!

Best hotel in Ubud

We have stayed in Bali many times and Wapa Di Ume is our favourite place. The people are fantastic and friendly. Wapa is so relaxing and beautiful. Surrounded by greenery, birds, ducks, rice fields and many cicaks (gecko). The rooms are immaculate and clean. The hotel is very quiet. The food is always fresh and delicious. We will always stay here when we are in Ubud. Thankyou again Wapa see you next year

Definitely worth staying here for a day or 2

Why need your own pool when there is a infinity pool to lay at! Superb place to relax with incredible food options. We had lunsj terrace room with lots of privacy and it was an amazing bed with bathroom.

Sadly the gym being renovated 🙈 not sure if I would have gone though haha

Amazing Stay with Warm Balinese Hospitality

I had an amazing stay at this hotel in Bali. The staff are incredibly friendly and truly made me feel like part of a family. The hotel has the vibe of real Balinese life, which made the experience even more special. Housekeeping was excellent and very clean—I especially liked the evening housekeeping check. Highly recommended

Wonderful traditional Ubud hotel with high hospitality standards! Huge rooms, delicious breakfast and stunning infinity pool! Away from central Ubud hustle and bustle, so the overall atmosphere in the hotel is very quiet and relaxing. Been here twice and definitely will come back!

Absolutely stunning

We stayed here for part of our honeymoon and it was just sensational from the minute we arrived. The hotel and the surroundings are stunning, the staff are so kind and so helpful, the location is great for being quiet but also an easy walk to a mini mart and a couple of nice restaurants, or a short drive to the centre of Ubud (there are hotel shuttle runs or easy to get a Grab). Our room was beautiful and so clean, with daily cleans and fresh water and a turn down service in the evening. Breakfast was fantastic - a big menu of options including many vegetarian, with a plate of fresh fruit, a pastry, coffee, water and fruit juice included. Afternoon tea included at the infinity pool was lovely for days when we were at the hotel with a lovely selection of biscuits and cakes. Morning yoga glass was so peaceful in such a beautiful location. I would love to return!

The place to stay in Ubud

Wow! What a lovely hotel, beatiful villas with private pools, lovely rice paddies views and super close to Ubud but not right on the noisy city centre. The Staff was out of this world, always so kind and attentive. Breakfast in the room everyday was also amazing! Special mention to Denny and his team, as well as the lovely Sonia from Wapa Sideman, we were not staying there sadly bu invited to see the hotel and wow! Do yourself a favour and book both properties, as the one in Sideman is incredible! Thank you so much guys from Felipe, Lais and baby Olivia

I loved everything, and the massages at the spa were also amazing but maybe the spa lacked a bit ambience, as there was no music, candles or anything like that. Just a minor thing.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful hotel , and I'm excited to share my experience! 😊 The staff were incredibly nice and went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. I was blown away by the amazing food options available, from breakfast to dinner. Every meal was a delight for my taste buds. 😋 I really appreciated how considerate the staff were, always attentive to every detail and need.🧘‍♀️ I also enjoyed the free yoga classes and the lovely afternoon tea, which added a touch of relaxation. The infinity pool was the cherry on top, offering breathtaking views and a perfect spot to unwind. 🤩 I highly recommend this hotel for a memorable getaway! Terima kasih!

Lovely Oasis not far from Ubud mayhem

Located just outside Ubud is away from the mayhem in a jungle like oasis. Rooms big and very comfortable. Were clean. Daily housekeeping. Lounge area by infinity pool was a nice quiet oasis to have a cocktail in the evening. Shuttle service into Ubud handy. Staff were all fabulous. I had a case of laryngitis and without request was offered hot lemon tea with honey to nurse it. Wape hotels smell fabulous… really want to buy that smell!

The food was very disappointing. Not a big issue as many lovely places in Ubud and Gojek taxis easy to get but sometimes u just want to eat in.

Amazing venue. Brilliant staff. We were welcomed with a room upgrade to a villa with a pvt pool. It was such a lovely surprise. The restaurant was really lovely with great choice of vegetarian food for me. The grounds are nicely nestled in a jungle like environment. You feel grounded in a way.

It was beautiful! Right in the jungle, quiet and refreshing whilst still having everything you need! Just a short drive to the main part of Ubud for everything you need! Great breakfast each morning and amazing staff!

The best 2nd honeymoon we didn't know we were getting!

We LOVED our time at Wapa and are longing to go back! The food is fantastic! The service is incredible. They even have outings you can participate in! It is so beautiful and peaceful. We even had a spa treatment that was very good.

Simply wonderful!

Very nice location, bigger than we expected it to be but you immediately turn into a relaxed mode when entering the hotel. The room we had was spacious and with a wonderful view into the green. The people / team at Wapa Di Ume are extremely attentive and kind, the breakfast delicious, the pool areas with enough privacy - we had a wonderful stay.

Exceptional hotel and resort - so beautiful, so peaceful and quiet, in the middle of nature but still accessible to downtown Ubud. I loved the location because while I could walk into town, it felt miles away from the craziness and noise of Ubud. It was a dream, the facilities (especially the pools and yoga room) were so peaceful, so beautiful. I barely wanted to leave the resort, and the staff were fantastic. I will only stay here on future visits to Bali, it exceeded all expectations. I stayed in the most basic level of room they offered and was stunned - it was so spacious, so impeccably designed, it felt super luxury. With a jungle-view balcony (HUGE!), perfect A/C and wifi, and the most amazing bathtub (felt like you were in nature). There was even a gym, basic but suitable for me. The staff cleaned and did turn down service every day, they were so helpful and the breakfast was amazing. Honestly, there are a lot of properties in Ubud but I don't think anyone could be disappointed to stay here. I feel so lucky to have discovered Wapa di Ume.

The food was excellent and the grounds were amazing. The villa was also very spacious with plenty of room - the reception staff were lovely and helpful too.

We had a damp smell in our villa and it had wet paint on the internal walls which you could see was just painting over the damp. The entrance to the hotel could do with jazzing up as it was a bit tired.

We were trilled to stay at this piece of heven.

We were so glad we have found this piece of heaven. We enjoyed so much spending the time at Wapa di Ume. Everything was so nice, the location, the position of the restaurant, the way everything was decorated and arranged…all the small details, the flowers, greenery, small statues, small pounds, the pool areas. Also the personal was always happy to help and going beyond to make our stay there pleasant.

Perfect stay in a quiet and peaceful environment surrounding with an amazing staff

Perfect breakfast, staff very friendly and helpful, swimming pool was amazing, staff at the swimming pool were super friendly and made one of the best cocktails, room very comfy, atmosphere very quiet.

Shuttle bus hours could be extended as it stops at 6pm but if you want to enjoy the city center nightlife you have to book a taxi. Plus we never found the return shuttle but when we needed it, we texted the manager who sent it to us so it was perfect !
