Sitting on balcony with sea view, perfect home base to explore this beautiful region from.

Reception staff friendly and high level of daily cleaning. Suite was great value for money, spacious with sea view but no road noise. Bigger fridge than usual was appreciated too.

Everything 1!! Bed was ultra comfortable and the pillows were just right. The breakfast and dinner were high quality and the service was great. I left a bag in the carport and there was no problem to have it couriered to Auckland. would definitely stay again.

Owners and management need to refresh rooms.

Fantastic view from first floor room. Breakfast was good and dessert was awesome. Room was spacious. Staff friendly.

Room needed some TLC. Cracked bathroom basin. Bathroom cabinet needed re-varnishing. Kitchen cabinetry difficult to open. Rusty and dirty hinges. Shower over a bath is so outdated and unsafe for anyone over 50. Shower flooded the bathroom floor. Extractor fan did not seem to make a difference. Stereo radio/CD player definitely from the 80's. TV only available for half of Sky channels ? Why advertise Sky TV and have half channels not available even when listed in information book. Closer inspection reflects poor maintenance

Lovely break away in a lovely spot

A beautiful view over the bay to Waitangi. Impressed that someone stayed up to check us in after we had an unexpected delay to our arrival. They work really hard to have the pools available from 9am to 10pm. Helpful friendly staff. Would definitely come back to stay

Very disappointed after paying good money

Nice room with very comfy bed

I came back to the room at 10pm and the room had a very distinct smell of poo. I went to the bathroom and discovered that the water in the toilet that creates the trap seal in the toilet was gone and as a result the full room stunk of shit. Informed the reception that the hotel plumbing pipe work is insufficiently vented as a result, when other floors have flushed the toilet or emptied the bath the seal has been pulled and has sucked the water from my toilet. I’m a plumber and I knew straight away what this was.

Lovely stay! Great location!

The staff were very attentive, super helpful and accommodating. I booked an overnight stay as a gift for my mother’s 74th birthday in which we stayed together at the resort. Unfortunately the weather was terrible however we were kindly upgraded to the top floor with an ocean view by the Manager. Location was lovely and the restaurant on site was perfect as we didn’t need to leave it for dinner in the rain. Disability parking was located undercover and in close proximity to reception which was also perfect! Large room with comfortable beds and good wifi. I had requested a candle on dessert for celebrating the birthday and they followed through with the request making my mother’s birthday even more special!

In regards to the bathroom,/toilet it was not able to be easily accessed using a wheelchair. Other than that the room was spacious and accessible.

Stayed 2 niggts paid for breakfast . Both mornings the staff in there completley got our breakfast order wrong. 1 morning they gave us 1 plate with only half the meal n the waitress goes. Half breakfast like u asked for . We was like ummm lets be polite say nothing eat the 1 egg 1 strip bacon 1 tosst n get outta here we then went into town n got a proper breakfast. Very poor restraunt skills n presentation on that side of the accomadation . But room an in house reception where lovely
