Luxurious stay in Paihia

Beautifully and luxurious apartment. Stayed there with 4 of my family. Very nice apartment complex with parking garage and pool, very friendly reception staff. The apartment (ours was No 2) had 2 bdr and 2 baths with fully equipped kitchen and washing machine as well as dryer. The apartment was very well appointed, high end furnishings, very tasteful. Short distance to restaurants and less than 10min to the wharf with Russel ferry and excursion boats.

The window in the smaller bedroom can’t be opened, there is only a fan for the hotter summer temperatures. Otherwise everything else was just lovely.

Worth every penny.

The room was lovely with a beautiful view of the bay. Liquor store on one side and a cafe on the other. Short walk to the pier to catch ferries and meet tour guides. 5 minute walk to the town centre with all the restaurants and shops. Very nice (and clean) swimming pool.

Lots of missing items in the kitchen (chopping board) the peelers was not working Very expensive for what it was The staff wasn’t very friendly The cleaning lady knocked at the door at 9:30 while the checkout was at 11am!!! Never seen that in my life

Great waterfront location. Convenient, had elevator, AC, and washer. Also had most other amenities. Spacious.

Great view and relaxing stay

Great location and very close to the ferry and places to eat. Walking distance to the ferry for easy access to Russell. Good spacious living area in the apartment and well equipped kitchen. Walk in wardrobe was a bonus and handy.

The location is excellent. We opted for water views so it was even better. Dated but still fine.

Good choice complex, great value!

The unit appeared to have recently been upgraded as everything was modern, clean and beautifully presented and perfectly equipped. The balcony was a good size and we caught a small view to the bay from unit 29. The location to the local shops and ferry terminal was an easy walk and very pretty!

We only wish we had a view overlooking the pool but easily overlooked considering the unit was so very nice.

Friendly staff, beautiful location, nice facilities incl. spacious, clean and well equipped rooms.

The location provides an open view of the Bay of Islands and the buildings, and the facilities are relatively new and well appointed like a proper resort. The apartment suite we occupied was spacious with large rooms (bedroom, living room, bathroom, closet & kitchen), and the rooms were very well equipped and clean. Plus, it had an in-suite washing machine and a dryer that were used by us with appreciation. Above all, Tina (the receptionist) was very friendly and helpful, who provided useful tips for sightseeing and graciously allowed us to leave our vehicle in the resort's garage for a few hours after our check-out.

The driveway into and especially that exiting from the underground garage are fairly narrow and you need be careful not hitting the side walls or the posts. However, this is a common issue in New Zealand for drivers used to driving and parking in Texas.

Great base for sparkling sea and packed with history

We were in the middle of a 9week holiday so the washing facilities were soooooo helpful. It was wonderful to walk straight our of the apartment, cross the road and get straight into the sea!!! Reception staff were really helpful with great recommendations for local restaurants.

A perfect place to relax

I paid a bit more than I usually do for a room and I’m glad I did. The room was spacious, clean, had all the facilities we needed…and it was a great view of the water and some good people watching. The location was great, a short walk to everything and not far from Waitangi. The lady who greeted me at reception was lovely and helpful. Would stay here again.

Great location, large and comfortable rooms with a view.

The two room accommodation was clean, a large size and was great for our brief 1-night stay. The main bedroom with the double bed has large panoramic views of the sea, as does the lounge. Both rooms had ensuite bathrooms which was a lovely touch.

No issues, although when we did pick up the keys as we were past the last check-in time these were left in a close envelope outside reception. There is the potential for a security issue here although thankfully not for us!

Lovely modern spacious well equipped apartment with convenient underground secure parking with lift to apartments. Fantastic location on the bay at southern end of very nice ‘strip’ of restaurants / ships, historic buildings - only 5 to 10 min walk to great restaurants, shopping street, main wharf, bay activities & beautiful beach front path ideal for morning walks along the wonderful Bay of Islands in Paihia. Easy ferry ride (including car ferry close by) to the wonderful historical town of Russell - ‘the birth place of NZ’ …. Short & longer drives to some of the gems of Northlands - Beautifully maintained gardens surrounding apartments and love.y long narrow infinity pool…. Recommended ! Thoroughly recommended.

Most everything was excellent although combined clothes washer / dryer (in room) was rather clunky, difficult to run & forced to air dry washing on rack in room. Just ‘one of those things’ but not overly problematic & possibly being replaced with different clothes washers soon.

The room was super comfy and spacious. The view was amazing from our ground floor room. The pool was beautiful. The location was perfect. Walking distance to centre of town and ferry/wharf (5 minutes). Would highly recommend!
