A wonderful relaxing stay with our children.

An unbelievable experience from start to finish. This hotel is completely family oriented and it was such a pleasure to stay here for the weekend. Our kids loved their welcome bag on their bunk beds on arrival and the movie night in cinema beside the bar went down a real treat. The food in the cafe and the bar was delicious and the staff were so helpful and friendly to us and our children. I cannot thank them enough. The service overall from the reception to the cafe to the bar and leisure centre was excellent. We will definitely be back again for a weekend again soon.

Family friendly exceeded expectations and excellent customer service

It was a very family friendly hotel. The bunk beds were a real treat for the kids. The staff were excellent, from the warm welcome at reception to the ongoing cheer and kindness from JC at reception. I couldn't speak more highly of the staff.

Breakfast was good. Plenty choice. The security system on the lifts was very good.

A double room for single occupancy proved expensive. This is an issue in most Irish hotels at the moment. I wish there was a way to make hotel accommodation more reasonable for those who are travelling alone.

The staff were amazing - reception, bar, housekeeping, leisure centre, kids area - everyone we came across were so friendly and nice.

The family room was small for 4 people but it was fine as there was so much to do.

Great spot

Lovely and comfortable room, great location. Right next to a selection of shops for anything needed but town was also quite close. An American gentleman checked me in and he was very cheery and welcoming.

Excellent family hotel, made for a stress free holiday with kids.

Excellent family hotel. We loved the pool and kids club every day at 6pm. Both breakfast and dinner were served super fast which is important when you are trying to keep toddlers entertained! Loved the staff, especially Jacy on reception who made us feel very welcome. Thank you!

Rooms are not huge, and the location is unusual, in an industrial estate. Though it was handy to have Tesco and smyths nearby

Family trip

Room was comfoetable,we had a mini fridge which is always a plus when travelling with kids. The food was delicious.

The swimming pool-water was very cold. The jacuzzi was hot but the swimming pool was too cold,due to this we only went there once.My family is well used to swimming pools but this time we did not enjoy it. The play room-the bathroom wasn't very clean,no toilet paper available and the room.itself had crumbs all over the floor. We followed the rules and made sure we tidy up but I would say the room needa to be cleaned more often. Shower tap-very difficult to wash young children when the shower head is 2m above your head. Not sure why this cannot be adjusted in most family rooma but its very incovenient.

I initially thought it was expensive,but then I stayed at a hotel in dk (20 mins walk from airport) and it was more expensive, with no pool and no breakfast included!!

Overall a pleasant experience and would recommend people to stay .

Over a two week period we stayed about 7 nights , in fairness breakfast was always good and great variety. The younger “pancake “ eaters didn’t like the “ pre-made “ pancakes Over that time from the two family weddings we attended ( over 50 people in my circle ) a lot didn’t go back to the bar / restaurant after their first night for various reasons and opted to go elsewhere . Can discuss over the phone necessary . Big compliment to your breakfast staff . I travel the country a good bit and stay at a lot of different hotels and good to see young staff trained well .

Bar / restaurant a disappointment for many ( can discuss if necessary) €20 late checkout ( extra hour ) a bit excessive, especially with so many from the same group staying. Most hotels would accommodate free of charge

Mixed experience

Leisure centre is a plus. Decent swimming pool and well equiped gym, both not over crowded. Very good location.

Food was not the best, both in restaurant and breakfast. Breakfast (hot option), after long wait for order to be taken and then food to be served, got cold meal. Had no time to change, as in rush to work. Diner, very disappointing. Never tried so bad chowder. Starting with skin on it, no pieces of fish, just cream and some debries of veg. Left more than half, didnt complain. Staff approached me asking why I didnt eat chowder. Explained issue. They appologised. And to my surprise, I was still charged for something of such poor quality. No one should pay for something like this dish. Goat cheese salad was better, however would not order again. Chef serving everything with shreded carrot with some creamy dressing, it just didnt go well with goat cheese. Also it should be served with grilled aubergine and courgete, probably carrot was instead. I do understand it was end of the day. However it would be nice to know about replacement, so I could decide to order something instead. A nice surprise was hot apple tart. Really enjoyable dessert.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The new family rooms are absolutely stunning — modern, spacious, and thoughtfully designed with families in mind. Our kids especially loved the bunk bed setup; it was a huge hit and made bedtime something they actually looked forward to! Everything was clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. We truly appreciated the attention to detail and how welcoming the space felt. The play den is a great idea to keep the kids occupied for an hour. Highly recommend for families looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay!

Clean but Crowded with Tour Bus Groups

The hotel itself is clean and well appointed. The rooms were clean as well and for the most part comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is easy to get to and located near some shopping and a grocery store. My husband enjoyed the leisure club facilities.

The hotel is located quite far from the city centre, and the distance isn't really walkable. Driving to the city centre and getting parking isn't easy. The hotel caters to bus tour groups and the entrance seems to always be blocked by the buses parking there. It's quite busy in the restaurant areas with all the tour groups, and the free breakfast wasn't great, but it was free. Again so many people from the tour groups made getting anything off the buffet difficult. We only had breakfast downstairs one time because of this. I was never able to use the leisure club facilities, as the pool & spa area were always packed out when I was able to use them. The elevators can be packed out with the tour groups, so we used the stairs most of the time.

Very noisy. Boy racers seem to rally around the hotel. About 10pm to around 3.30am. Very hard to sleep!!! The receptionist told me it was a common accurance at the weekends!!!
