I have stayed in the Rose Hotel several times and it is one of the best hotels l have stayed in.The staff are very friendly and there is a lovely atmosphere there.The food is excellent cannot fault this hotel.

Wonderful! Perfect location the hotel was clean, well located, comfortable and the staff were lovely

The breakfast was good quality and plenty. The staff were polite and friendly.

One staff memeber gave a group of people with special needs a bit of hassle for joining two tables together in Dotts bar. The only wanted to eat together. It was their special day out. I didn't like how just one staff memeber treated the group.

A good location and good food for our evening meal

A good self service breakfast, rooms were spacious. The hotel was easy to find and there was ample parking, I liked staff who are helpful in finding is a nice place to eat.

There was nothing that I didn’t like in the hotel. The staff were helpful in giving us a map and showing us how to get into the town the next morning.

Good location. Excellent hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room was very good with two large double beds. Bar food was good. Breakfast good

The bathroom in the room needs updating. The shower was poor. They need to take out the bath and put in a good shower. From a health safety point of view having to climb into the bath and out for a shower could be hazards if you were unsteady on your feet. The shower in the bath was very cramped

Very expensive for the room

It is a lovely hotel, but rather style over substance

It only had a double bed, not a king size and it was very hard. The bathroom was quite small with a shower over the bath, with a shower curtain which follows you around the bath. as it was quite compact. I would have expected a bigger room / bathroom for this price. Also I would have liked to have used the sauna, but we were told we had to book a spa treatment to use the sauna/steam room. I think the room choice is worse booking through booking.com. Breakfast was hood though.
