Friendly staff
My room was based down an alleyway! Seemed unsafe for a woman walking home alone.

clean
tv only had a few channels, the actual hotel was nice, the dinner was beautiful, the bedroom was in a shed because rooms in hotel were kept for ipas 😡, would have liked to have known this up front

Staff
Annex rooms is are at best Hostel/Emergency Accommodation standard.
Room has nothing to offer bed is hard and right next to toilet door so I can hear every single thing. Doorstop practicaly planted in middle of floor. I have so much to say but no room to say it except if the imperial hotel is in fact a hotel once again either fully commit or take sign off front of building you had no sports on TV no breakfast option I should have drove straight home to be honest the only saving grace from this visit was the excellent staff

Location. The room was basic but adequate. Are in the bar and although the staff were nice, some more training needed
Not there long enough to form an opinion I'd have to say the approach to the annexed rooms was a bit dodgy. Broken path and a lot of trip hazards

They could have turned on the heating given the drop in temperature.

The location
Room down a dingy lane with a ground floor patio door which wouldn’t lock. I brought the to the hotels attention.

The door handle lock was tricky enough

Staff friendly
I think hotel may be housing asylum seekers. The 'annex' is recently refurbished but is like call down a laneway at the back of the hotel. Did not stay & moved to another hotel.

Handy middle of town
The bar closed way to early

At 3am a large number of unruly guest entered the premises and proceeded to try to kick in the door, there was little to no intervention from the hotel owners. security is poor to the rear accommodation down the lane, so anyone could enter as they do not have to go through reception.

Central location
This hotel is run down. It caters for refugees rooms have no working electric sockets. Our toilet when flushed caused a flood to the room below. Angry people who could not speak English came banging on our door. No catering provision for breakfast. Although tea and coffee set out you could not boil the kettle. This hotel has charged me more than one from the previous night that I rated as 5 star. I want my money back.

Central
Annex room were poorly furbished. The toilet was right next to the head of the bed ! The toilet had a smell even before use which made an unusual smell in the room : when I got home all my clothes smelt which is not something I’ve experienced at a hotel

Decent value for money.
Shower had the worst pressure I've ever seen. Pillows were uncomfortable.
No soundproofing between rooms, you can hear everything, from next door

Breakfast not included rather expensive should have included b/fast ..curtains fell down and toilet roll holder broke .General aura of shabby
The hotel needs an update and for the price it should be more upmarket .Very basic and should have included a b/reakfast

The room was clean.
No breakfast !!!! . I went for a pt of Guinness on the Fri night in the hotel but there were issues with the Guinness and I refused to have it . I was offered another option but wasn't interested.
You have below "did the property meet my expectations " not sure I can answer that . Like I said above the rm was clean that's it .

Front Office Manager was exceptional! Friendly, professional and an absolute gem! Give this wonderful lady a raise! Room was ready early and we got a late checkout.
We stayed in the refurbished extension which was lovely, the only small issue was all the rooms around us woke up at 05.30am causing much noise but it’s not a complaint.

The bed was very comfortable and there was plenty of towels and other stuff was prepared to the best
I actually thought I was staying in the hotel but instead I was in the annex part and it was like an apartment would have preferred the hotel room
10.0 / 10.0
I have stayed at the Annex behind the hotel. It’s quiet and very near any you need, and the bus or train station are a 10 minute walk.
I love Tralee and the Imperial! No downsides!

The annex was spotless and looked new. Lovely showers and all you would expect even if it looked a bit back yard at first it was excellent.
It was a shame that we had to go next door for breakfast.

The locations is good
It’s not really clear when you book that the room is in a new separate building but quiet noisy
5.0 / 10.0
Hotel itself looked ok & clean
Room in annex accessed through a dodgy looking laneway, very basic, & cheaply done. bed uncomfortable
8.0 / 10.0
Location is excellent, we had a quiet night's sleep. Room in the annex was adequately furnished and car parking a big plus.
Missed having a choice for breakfast but cafe near by. Otherwise all good.

The accommodation was quite central to shops bars and restaurants.
It was basic accommodation but good enough value for money on a Saturday night.
The rooms were at the back of the hotel, down an entry.. Safe enough. Had locked carparking. Room only no breakfast.

The only decent thing was they had there own car park
Wasn’t aware we where located in the annex at the back of the hotel until after it was paid room very small had shower when arrived few mins later the alarm went off with the steam from shower the fan actually sounded like the noise from a tractor to be honest also had to move the kettle to the bed locker to boil it as there was no plug on the table where the tea coffee facilities where so had to carry the boiling kettle across the room not very safe to be honest very poor sleep

Wasn’t in main hotel in an amex out the back, very noisy

The staff were nice and friendly. The room size was good, and the location was excellent, it's the centre of town. They also offered us free parking, but because this hadn't been listed in the facilities we had already paid for parking down the street.
The bed felt like it was old - the springs were uncomfortable. The was a stench from the sewers, which thankfully subsided at night. I understand hotels using refillable shower gel/shampoo but they were obviously the cheapest of the cheap as my hair was brittle after one wash. If you're charging over EUR120 a night, there should be some comforts. We had dinner reservations elsewhere otherwise I would have asked to change rooms (due to the smell).

The girls that checked us in was a great asset to the hotel.
We booked breakfast included but there isn’t breakfast. The Anex has paper thin walls made of drywall and no sound proofing . People hang out in the alleyway smoking and urinating. It’s disconcerting when you try to sleep and people are drunk right outside your window.

Great place to stay. Needs more wine glasses and a broom. Hot water not easy to operate
