The staff was incredible. They were friendly, professional and hospitable. They made us feel welcome and appreciated.
The restaurant was excellent.
The property was very comfortable and clean. It was well thought out didn’t cause any extra hoops to be jumped through as some properties do.
We loved being out of the crowds in Edinburgh.

Restaurant was very good.
Outdated furniture in rooms, painting off on some room furniture, old carpets and paint coming off on the wall next to the WC.

Plenty of parking, warm welcome, small well laid out room.
Great if travelling with a pet and our dog was treated like royalty by the waitress at breakfast.
Had food in the evening which was well cooked and tasty
Cooked breakfast good, but quality of hot drinks especially coffee weak. Breakfast came with toast on day one but not on day two.
Bedside table missing from wall, not a problem but looked messy.

The hotel room was comfortable, and I had a really good night’s sleep. The breakfast also had a lovely Scottish touch to it.
The music downstairs didn’t stop until around midnight, and it was very loud, which made it difficult to rest. There was also no one available at reception in the evening when I tried to contact them.
The carpet in the room had an unpleasant smell. I was also charged £20 for my dog, which felt quite expensive, especially as there were no pet-friendly amenities or welcome items provided at all.
