Personal, small and cosy hotel

Building has a nice and classic appearance. Love the actual keys instead of cards. Staff is nice and flexible. We had to wait for the ferry in the evening and it was no problem to safely keep our car behind the building and to keep using the facilities.

It is kind of a big walk to restaurants or cocktailbars because of the large military base in front of the door.

On-site parking is really small and tight even for the small car when it`s full, but there are plenty of free parking places on the streets nearby. No elevator (4 floors), just to be aware.

The bed was nice, we had a good night’s sleep.

Nobody at the reception on arrival (19:59, checkin was between 15:00-23:00). One of the reasons for choosing this hotel was the on-location parking. Thankfully we were the only ones doing that, because there where construction works prohibiting access to more than 2 parking pkaces, and because of that you could only enter/exit one way (narrow). The price for the hotel included taxes (stated on Booking.com). My first message to the hotel (in English) mentioned us coming with a small dog and wanting to use the on-property parking. reply came in the form of a standard email in italian detailing the breakfast options, nothing about parking or the cost for our dog Just before arriving we got a message from the hotel expkaining there were parking fees and you could not reserve a parking spot On arrival, we found nobody, and the sent a Whatsapp to the ‘emergency ‘ number. we got a response, someone would be there in 5min. Finally we could checkin and asked to pay because we would leve at 07:00 to catch the Ferry. We had to pay 104€ (5€ extra for the dog-taxes). ok for that Next morning, another person was at the reception and on checkout, we were told the bill was not completely paid, I had to pay for the dog & parking (10€ each). So 125€ in total, as I had no time to waste, I paid for it feeling ripped off. Never coming back there again !! O and a fridge in a room is nice, but only if it works

Small room with even smaller bathroom, the airconditioning was loud and could barely cool the small room. They have parking places but i was told they are only for cars and not for motorcycles? Excuse me? If they charge 10€ for a "parkingspace", that parkingspace is to parc your means of transportation, If that is a car, a motorcycle or even a bicycle shouldn,'t make any difference. I eventualy could park my motorcycle on the side but 123€ for one night without breakfast is a bit overpriced.

Very nice and stylish hotel near the racetrack. Friendly staff always willing to give advice. Parking without problems in the hotel parking lot or in front of the hotel on the street. Free WiFi throughout the hotel. Very nice breakfast on the terrace.

Our check in was at 3pm. We arrived to the hotel at 3:40, with no one at the reception desk. We waited another 15 minutes before someone got there to check us in, and give us the key to our room. That's fine. I know it's Italy, things move slow. Including the drivers on the highways, so keep that in mind if driving through Tuscany. We got to our room, the handle fell off when we were trying to get into our room. I went downstairs, to tell the front desk, perhaps to get another room, and they told me to open the door with the key, and not use the handle. Ok, fine. ... Though I wondered about the security of our room when we left for the day. The bed was the worst bed I've slept on, the pillows were not any better, more like a pice of foam in a pillow case. The mattress was wrapped in a plastic cover, so it was impossible to get comfortable and not sweat the entire night. I get it, it's a fancy looking Italian hotel from the outside so you might be tempted, also the second most expensive in Livorno. The location isn't close to any beach you want to lay on, and there's a Naval base across the street blocking your access to the ocean. Our room was not worth the €143 a night. If you're booking this through Booking.com, the breakfast is not included like they say it is. The front desk staff will tell you it's not included, and then charge you €10 for a single cappuccino and pastry for breakfast.

Lovely hotel with wonderful atmosphere!

Me and my friend stayed in this hotel for 2 nights and we were so exicited. This hotel was so lovely and has wonderful atmosphere. We love the architecture and how rooms were super clean and tidy. And hotel staff felt like a family and I'm even not sugar coating, ladies were so kind to us so we wanted to stay a little bit longer but they were fully packed - and here is why. If I would have visit Livorgno again, I would've stayed in this hotel.
