Great value for money

Renovated rooms in an old building with a high ceiling, located really close to a free public parking and very near the aquarium and the infamous Terazza Mascagni and some 30 mins walk from the historic centre and close to some restaurants along the sea shore (we found too late). There are several rooms with a shared common dinning area and kitchenette. For breakfast guests receive vouchers for a really cosy local pastry shop few hundred meters away. Host was very friendly and helpful, waited for us on site to provide keys and show parking.

It is an old house with wooden floors so you would clearly hear the upstairs neighbors walking (they stopped really early, so no issues). Windows were rather small and facing the parking lot and a dark inner yard, so not much natural light in our room. Furniture is really basic but looks nicely refurbished.

A lovely night in Livorno

Had a very good experience. Owner was lovely, and we met her son in the morning and he called a taxi for us which was appreciated as the cab company did not understand english. We are from the US. It is not like an american bnb but similar to other european properties we have been to. We stayed one night before a cruise the next day and it was just what we wanted. It is like a 4 bedroom apartment on the 2nd floor of an apartment building... you share a kitchen area and each bedroom has its own lock and key, and ours had a private bathroom in the room. It is a very short walk to the shoreline and terrace. Good pizza and gelato near by. Nightime along the shore was very nice.

Getting to Livorno from Pisa airport cost us 100 Euro via taxi. This had nothing to do with the property, but the location of the town itself.

Excellent long stay

Everything is pretty much ok! The host is very communicative, we received clear instructions about everything. Also, if any request arises, the host is more than happy to help in very short time. We received many suggestions for activities around the city and even an early taxi to the train station was arranged for us. The room was clean, there was a shared large kitchen and dining room available, with a large fridge. The breakfast is represented by a coffee and a cookie/croissant from a cafeteria down the street. It is a good deal and of good quality, but have this in mind if you're looking for a more copious one. Really, everything is great.

There's really nothing much to complain about. Room 2 can get a little noisy in the morning because of the street traffic. There is AC available and you can close the window to attenuate the traffic sound on the street a bit. The furniture is a little vintage and may creak a bit. There are some kind of steep and narrow stairs to climb to the first floor, you may want to ask for more info in advance if you have problems climbing stairs. Nothing serious to complain about, really.

Thank you Dalila and Gabriele for your hospitality and going the extra mile for us. We really enjoyed are stay. The apartment was lovely and conveniently situated close to amenities and the sea. Rooms are up to date and nicely decorated and air con was a life saver!

Nothing special, but good for the price

It was very near to the main Terrazza and the sea. There was a great gelateria near the B&B. The host was very nice and gave us some tips.

The room had a very simple furniture. There was only a bed and a desk. The bed was not super comfortable. The bathroom was on the other side of the corridor, but it was only for our use.

There was free parking around the corner! The WiFi was excellent and the location was great. The room was clean.

The breakfast was due to COVID not served in the B&B but they gave a voucher that you could use in a breakfast place (2min walking distance). The voucher included 1 coffee and 1 croissant (value €2,50). In my opinion this is not enough since I am a breakfast person. I must say that the breakfast place was very nice and the croissants were very very big and delicious! The airconditioning sometimes made a lot of noise which made it difficult to fall asleep.

Il bar con i ticket colazione è buonissimo, e molto comodo da raggiungere. La posizione della struttura è ottima, a piedi si arriva sul lungomare e alla Terrazza Mascagni , e sulla strada stessa ci sono locali per cenare.

Metterei una mini zanzariera anche alle finestrine del bagno.

Ottima scelta per le esigenze di questo breve soggiorno

E' possibile preparare la colazione nella cucina del b&b oppure recarsi al bar in convenzione (peraltro ottimo). Per le mie necessità la posizione si è rivelata molto buona: vicino alla via litoranea per la macchina e a 20 minuti a piedi dal centro cittadino. Bagno piccolo ma abbastanza funzionale, con doccia grande. La camera è dotata di aria condizionata e ha un terrazzino, piccolo ma sufficiente per, ad esempio, far asciugare costume e telo da mare.

Unica pecca rilevata: nel bagno non è presente il bidet. Una doccetta mobile all'interno della doccia renderebbe questa assenza meno rilevante. Arredamento della camera un po' spartano ma per soggiorni brevi come il mio non rappresenta un problema.
