This is a room within Dalila's appartment in Livorno. The room is large, light and comfortable. The appartment is lovely, on the second floor (without lift) of an old restored palazzo. Dalila was very accommodating about arrival times and it was comfortable to be in her house. The room comes with an exclusive external bathroom. The area is very close to the sea front and bagnio(s). It is quite a walk from the "venice" part of Livorno. Livorno is an honest Italian town....a relief after a few days of Pisa. The port of Livorno is very important to the town whether for ferries or commercial traffic. Parts of the sea front promenade are lovely although there is very limited access to the actual beach unless you go via the paid "bagnios". Personally, I find the over riding commercialisation of access to many many beaches in Italy, "unfortunate". Anyway, Dalila's appartment and Livorno are worth visiting....

Great location in a lovey old building and the bulding is generally cool inside in the summer - fanstastic restaurent next door
shower is a bit of tight squeeze if you are 2 metres plus - but fun - you will see what I mean

The host was super nice! She needed to relocate us because of a problem with the AC, but she gave us an upgrade, including a breakfast in a bakery/coffee place. In addition, she sent me plenty of good advise of what to visit in the city. The trattoria she recommended to eat was just incredible!!!
The wi-fi was not working, so I could not manage to see all the messages because I had very limited internet connection.
