A disgusting place to stay

The view from the apartment was the only thing that was good.

Everything was terrible, it was filthy, the beds we rock hard, need I say more

Apartment compact, larger bedroom, at expense of living space, luckily good weatherGreat location

Cleanliness in the apartment, cutlery drawer dirty utensils, floor not swept thoroughly, no cleaning materials Kitchen too compact not room for kettle, toaster and micro-wave, needs extended work surface, we used a chair to extend work surface. Tricky to prepare a meal easily. No Wi-Fi . Parasol base snapped off rusted through. Outdoor table past its best and too small to weight and hold parasol up when windy.

Really enjoyable holiday and so lucky with the weather.

Great view of Caswell beach and cliffs. Easy access to the beach with handrails for support. We enjoyed having the outside space as the weather was really good all week. It was very well equipped with kitchen utensils etc and the seating area inside was comfortable. Lovely setting with sun on patio from 7am to almost 7pm. We had a lovely holiday.

The patio table shown in the pictures was much larger than the bistro table that was actually provided. As it was hot we needed to use the sun umbrella with the table. This did not have a working base to weigh it down as it was broken. This was a health and safety issue as with the slightest breeze when the umbrella was up, the table was unbalanced and more than once a cup of tea or coffee tipped up narrowly missing my husband on two occasions. We soon learned not to use the umbrella when we needed the table for meals or drinks. However, new guests would not know this and someone could be scalded by hot drinks. Even without this issue, the table was a bit small for 2 dinner plates. We did think about bringing the inside dining table outside but it was hot and the sun wouldn't have done the table surface any good. There are 2 nice pub serving food in Bishopston and a decent Coop store. It's up a steep hill and about 1.5 miles. There is a taxi service but we left our car and walked back down hill and picked it up the next day.

Superb

The hanging of the curtains was awkward making them difficut to close.Otherwise we had no complaints regarding the equipment or the fiitings. The provision of wi-fi would have been bendficial,but there was a very good 4G signal so it was possible to access the internet without difficulty.
