Good location in beautiful area and enhanced our walking trip

What a charming little cottage, lovely and welcoming with a little starter pack, beautiful flower display and decorated for Christmas. The cottage had everything you could need, fantastic heating, comfy living area and extremely comfy bed. The hosts were very helpful, giving us lots of ideas where to visit and lovely walks close by. The local pub at the top of the lane was so friendly.. We had the most fantastic time exploring the Gower.
The shower was very weak and only just warm, maybe just down to water pressure. Wouldn't stop us returning though.

The hosts were very friendly. The property is very well equipped and comfy. If there weather is good there is a nice outdoor seating area. There are many beautiful beaches nearby and coastal walks that you can actually walk to from the property although that would give you a pretty high step count. I would stay here again.
The ceiling height , more of an issue for my husband, he constantly banged his head. The upstairs is in the loft area. You need to look where you are going. Also the internet dropped out more than it was in but I believe that’s more of an area issue so be prepared.

We were not made aware of the road closures due to iron Man race at time of booking. This made travel extremely difficult, near impossible.

The location was great. Property really clean. Just a little add on would have been great to have some milk on arrival for a cuppa after a long journey. But other than that it was lovely.

Lovely comfy little place in a good position for sightseeing the Gower, although you do need a car. It was very well equipped for cooking with some additional extras like cooking oil etc, very useful. There is also a small garden attached to the property nice for the summer. I would definitely recommend.
The head room was a bit of an issue for my husband in the bedroom as it is situated in the loft space, I am much shorter. If we stayed again we would swap sides of the bed as there is more headspace on one side than the other.

Location was good.
Outside area, garden, decking and loungers good
•Massive sofa took up most of the room in the lounge area.
•Shower was downstairs and bathroom was upstairs
•Restricted height upstairs with only a standard double bed

The cottage appeared to be very well appointed, slightly dusty though as it set off my husbands allergies. The ceilings are low because it’s a cottage, so anyone over 6 foot tall would need to mind their head!
We were asked to leave by the host (in no uncertain terms!) because we had a baby. She made it clear she didn’t believe we had not realised babies weren’t allowed. The host also implied she didn’t believe we hadn’t seen her text message 30 mins earlier, despite there being no reception in the cottage, and the wifi not working for us. She repeatedly told us she was “extremely displeased” with us!
For future bookers’ information: The cottage policy says “Children cannot be accommodated at the hotel. Please check the Children and extra beds policy for where your little ones will sleep.”
We understood “little ones” to mean babies were ok (as is often the case with hotels, “children” meaning aged 2-15 yrs). We have never been treated in this way at any other accommodation.
It was very stressful being asked to leave at 8pm on a bank holiday weekend! We tried to hurriedly book somewhere else, but since there is no reception at the cottage and the wifi didn’t work for us, we just had to pack baby & our things and leave.

Location and little touches like the torch for use of an evening
Bed a little small but this was OK and probably due to the low ceilings

Location exelent but I had'nt looked up the access, down an unmarked gravel track!
Accomodation was good and well layed out.
The owners were trying to make the property high quality but provided poor quality cutlery, kettle and towels.
Also the bed quilt was too thick, a much thinner one was found in a cupboard, but the seasons require three thickneses to accomodate the range in the UK.
Expensive for October but prices up this year due to travel restrictions, price should come down for next year.

Very quiet, beautiful walk down to the coast from the doorstep.
Comfiest sofa ever.
Beautiful building and beautifully furnished.
Tin opener not working and too late at night to go knocking on doors over.
Would have liked wooden or heat-proof plastic stirring spoon, plastic chopping board. Kitchen felt a bit ‘spartan’ in terms of basics.
Extraction would be good in the shower room.
For an expensive property I just felt it was a little lacking in ‘warmth of welcome’ - apart from soap in loo and fairy liquid and a few tea/coffee sachets, no cloth wipes in kitchen, no kitchen roll, no toiletries in bathroom.

Really clean, beautifully furnished cottage. Spacious both inside and out. Warm and welcoming owners for whom nothing was too much trouble. Top recommendation
