Clean, comfortable and location

The onsen was a little too hot since it was en do of Spring

The staff was so nice and accommodating and the location was perfect for access to the onsens and temples. We could even hike to see the monkeys from there. We had to leave very early and they went above and beyond to help us out. They really took great care in making sure we were happy.

It is not really a note of what I didn't like, just a note to remind you if you requested special food requirements ahead of time, to be sure to remind the staff when you arrive. As is good for any stay. The food was exceptional and they tried to accommodate during dinner, but it is always best to remind when you check-in so they can better prepare for you.

The Heart of Shibu onsen. The owner hospitality, he manage to transfer our big luggage’s and us by his own car. Good breakfast and nice restaurant.

No toilet inside the room.

Great location, excellent breakfast, friendly staff nice but small Onsen, we asked for a quiet room and they have us one with its own private bathroom

The hotel doesn’t list its location/correct address as Shibu Onsen, Yudanaka, Nagano, only Nagano, and driving directions; when you search for the Hotel on Apple Maps to get train directions it takes you to Echigo-Yuzawa, we had purchased tickets here and had to change them at the last minute which cost us thousands of yen.also our room was very outdated and dirty, doors were dirty. Our room wasn’t cleaned in 3 days. Only 1 staff member spoke limited English. We had to repeatedly ask for clean towels
